This is just for fun; there's been no spoilers or anything about Paige possibly returning, but with Aiden's return from the "dead" creating chaos for Hope, it made me think about it. If Paige were to not really be dead and were to return to Salem, who would you want JJ to ultimately end up with?

This is a tough one and I may change my mind but I voted for Gabi. I would like to see Paige have some type of relationship with her half-siblings. I think she needs a fresh start in the romance department. Having to deal with the images of Eve and JJ would just be too much.

Paige! Seriously, J.J. and Paige are so cute together! I would have such a hard time seeing Paige with anyone else. And while I do enjoy Gabi/J.J., they're not J.J./Paige! Plus, True O'Brien and Casey Moss are together in real life, so it would be awesome to see how their real life romance impacts their onscreen romance.

I wasn't a fan of Paige and I'm not a fan of Gabi, but if Paige were still alive:
JJ would not be a cop.
JJ and Paige would be together.
Paige would still be in college.
JJ would probably still be in college.
Eve would still be in town.
Gabi would probably still be in prision. She was supposed to serve ten years. She only served one year because they needed to pair JJ with someone.

I'm not completely sure how I feel but I voted for Paige. I like both Paige and Gabi but I think Paige and JJ had more soapy potential. I'd love to see Paige hating JJ for what he did and struggling with still loving and caring about him. JJ would try to stay out of her life but being with Gabi would make that impossible. Plus he'd start to feel guilty that maybe he is with Gabi only because she's Paige's sister. I kind of want to change my vote to "Someone else" and let that be the end result of the paragraph above.  |

Love this thread idea!
I think JJ would have a hard time resisting the pull toward Paige. She was his first real love and she was on the verge of forgiving him when she got killed. He has a more mature relationship with Gabi, but so much of it has been offscreen, whereas we saw the entire courtship he had with Paige. They were my favorite couple at that time, so I'm going with Paige.
