This coming week is going to be a little more lighthearted. I hope you'll love it … because it's going to have to tide you over. The story will be taking a short hiatus the following week as the author works to catch up! Thank you all for your continuing readership and support!!!

Chapter 46a
The next evening, Chloe plopped down next to Philip on the sofa holding her iPad.
“Hmmm, I just had a deja vu,” Philip said.
“Stop it,” she said slapping his arm lightly. “Okay, here’s my list of people to invite to our wedding. Tell me what you think. … Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Um. No reason. I just thought we agreed we weren’t going to obsess over this.”
“I’m not obsessing. I’m just thinking about it day and night. So, what do you think?”
Philip took the iPad from Chloe and perused her proposed list. He read the names aloud. “Craig, Nancy, Joy, Victor and Maggie, Bo and Hope—I think Bo died, but I’m not sure. Hard to keep up with the death rate in Salem. … Belle and Shawn, Parker, Claire, Tate and Ciara, Max and Chelsea, Lucas. … Wait. What?” He looked up from the iPad. “Lucas?? Really?”
“Well, he is your brother and I didn’t want to be the one to omit him just because he hates me.”
“It’s okay, I’ll do it.” Philip deleted Lucas’s name and continued reading. “Brady and Nicole. Well thank goodness Brady is invited. Now we both have an ex-spouse at the wedding. Sort of balances things out.”
Chloe chuckled and playfully nudged Philip’s shoulder. “Stop.”
Philip continued reading the list. “Austin and Carrie, Billie, my forgotten sister. Justin and Adrienne. Sonny and Will—Will might have kicked the bucket too—Lucinda and her husband.” Philip looked up at Chloe. “You don’t remember her husband’s name either, do you?”
Chloe shook her head no, and got defensive. “No, but it's not my fault. Kpatch got too lazy to write in a new character or even come up with a name for the guy.”
“True, but in all fairness she's written like 70 fanfics about us since 2011,” Philip recalled, “and she’s published five novels, not to mention all the nonPhloe fics she wrote between 2007 and 2011. Not exactly what I’d call lazy.”
“Seventy??” Chloe’s eyes widened. “Wow, that's prolific. Did she really write really seventy stories?”
Philip shrugged. “Well if it’s not seventy, it’s close.”
Chloe playfully smacked Philip’s arm. “Sounds like she's also too lazy to even count up the number of stories she's written.”
“Give her a break, will you?” Philip argued.
“I think she's taken more than enough breaks,” Chloe said with a roll of her eyes.

LOL at all the meta-commentary. Maybe Kpatch can resurrect some of these unnecessarily dead people. LOL I'm glad Philip and Chloe have a decent guest list. |

I AM CERTAIN THAT THE ABSENCE OF GEORGE FROM THE GUEST LIST IS MERELY AN (EGREGIOUS) OVERSIGHT THAT WILL BE CORRECTED QUICKLY.... Or do you just want to hear/read my continued whining??  |

Fear not, my friends. There has been no oversight. George was not forgotten and he's always been on the list, but he is at the end of the list. Had I realized he has such a huge following, I'd have moved him up to the beginning of the list. |
