Okay, I know I am super late to this thread (I have been blogging about Dirty Soap too, I love all the Days people past and present). My main thoughts:
- Mimi was one of my fave characters on Days when I was in HS, so it is weird getting to know the actress, who I kind of like for her 'keep it real' attitude, but can also be kind of grating.
- Kirsten as Belle was one of my least fave characters back in the day, so I wanted to automatically not like her and side with Farah in their feud. But then in last week's episode we saw how sad and complicated her life is, so I felt bad. It's not her fault Belle was a goody goody lol
- Galen reminds me so much of Rafe2 (before he went all SUPER bad, when he was still pretending to be Rafe1), and it cracks me up.
I could go on and on. I am excited about this show. I have a soft spot for trashy reality shows, and this combines it with my soft spot for Days!!

^^ I thought the same thing about Galen. His humor reminded me of Rafe2 before he went psycho. ;D

@ salemonasalem I know!!! I thought I was the only one who didn't care for Belle she was such a goody goody I couldn't stand her! And I didn't like her when she began playing Maxie on GH. Because of that I wanted to automatically dislike her but once I saw how lonely her life was I felt so bad for her Kirsten's okay it's her character I don't really like.

I finally got around to watching this last night. The whole time Kristen and her brother's girlfriend were talking/crying, I just kept thinking they weren't giving a second thought to how that's affecting her brother. It's got to be enough on him to leave, but to have them blubbering and babbling about blubbering wouldn't give him the impression that they'd be able to handle things while he's gone. Maybe I'm just a bit jaded being near a military town and all...
What kind of man does Fary want for Nadia? I don't get the "real man" comment other than he was more muscular. That's horrible after all the years Nadia's been with Brandon that Fary calls the neighbor (whom I presume she just met) a "real man".
JP's mom....yeah. Farrah just needs to realize things won't change and he won't grow up and become a "real man". Why does his mom go to fan events? Does any other mother of ADULT soap actors show up to fan events and participate?
Galen...why are there locks on the kids' doors anyway? It just seemed so stereotypical and set-up.
Kelly...I just can't seem to care much about her, maybe because I've never really watched GH and even missed her season on DWTS.

Kirsten needs to get a grip on reality. Your life is what you make it. It you sit around and mope about the fact that your brother is going to be gone for a year it is going to be miserable. Why doesn't she take that time and work on herself and growing into a strong independent woman who doesn't feel the need to try to run her friend's lives?? I don't feel the least bit sorry for her. Especially considering both my brothers were in the military and my one brother I didn't see or talk to for over a year. Get a grip.

Ugh. How frustrating. They don't have episodes online and I don't have a DVR so I have to watch it live and the only time they are showing a rerun is during the time that Days airs here. Grr.....

I haven't watched this week's episode yet. I taped last week's epi and when I watched it, I found myself fast forwarding all of Kelly Monaco and the Gehrings. I'm interested in Nadia and Brandon, and Farah and JP, and just a little bit in Kirsten. I was surprised to learn that Kirsten had such a tumultuous upbringing. Even though Farah comes across as hard edged, I get the feeling that she is a very sincere and caring person.
And what the heck is wrong with Nadia's mother? Brandon is perfect. I love the way the couple interacts and calmly and honestly discusses issues. They have staying power for sure.

I FF'd through most of last nght's show too. All I really care about are Nadia and Brandon. Jenna is ridiculous. Cut the cord already, lady!! Farrah needs to break up with JP ASAP. They obviously want different things. I'm already tired of Kelly's "Woe is me" attitude. If things keep going like this I'm not sure I'll keep watching.  |

I missed Saturday's episode. I have it taping later this week. Super excited to see Farah and Kirsten's reunion. Yeee haw!  Hopefully it will be as good as I am hoping! |

it is on, but it is a repeat of episode two. On my station, the new one about Farah and Nadia's meeting doesn't air until Thursday. I cannot wait to see that meeting. LOL
