Chapter 1
SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OPERATING ROOM
Maggie is fighting for her life and now Chad is in serious condition, undergoing surgery. Lexie is operating.
Daniel: Lexie! Lexie! Listen to me! This is a … conflict… of interest. You … shouldn’t operate ... on Chad Dimera. He’s your … nephew.
Lexie: Chad Dimera is my brother.
Daniel: Whatever.
Lexie: He’s losing blood and his BP is falling fast. I’m declaring him dead.
Abby walks into the operating room with Melanie. Melanie freezes.
Abby: Oh no! Chad Dimera can’t die.
KIRIAKIS MANSION
Brady has convinced Taylor and Nicole to stay at the Kiriakis mansion for protection while the war rages on.
Taylor: Are you happy now Brady? Lexie is about to declare Chad Dimera dead and it’s all your fault.
Brady: How do you know she’s about to declare Chad Dimera dead?
Taylor: Oops. Spoiler alert. I got an advance copy of the script.
Nicole: Then you must know how you’re going to be written off.
Taylor: I’m being written off?

Great start jkjpatch!!! Why do they keep calling him Chad Dimera tho?? Are they still trying to get used to the fact that he is a Dimera?

HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM
EJ: Surely you must be able to provide us with some information about my brother, Chad Dimera.
Maxine: Do I look like the frickin’ 411 operator? And don’t call me Shirley.
Stefano: If you know what’s good for you, you will find out what is going on with my son, Chad Dimera.
Maxine: Okay, okay, I’ll text Melanie. She’s in the OR with them.
Stefano: They will pay for this Elvis. They are all going to pay … every last Kiriakis will regrrrrrret the day they were born.
EJ: You can say that again, Fatha.
Stefano: Every last Kiriakis will regrrrrrret the day they were born.
EJ makes a phone call on his cell.
EJ: Meet me at Horton Town Square in half an hour. … How can you not know where it is? It’s in the center of town. You can’t miss it. … For crying out loud, it’s the new set that has all of Hollywood abuzz. Don’t you have GPS? What do you mean it’s being repaired? … In that case, meet me on the pier in half an hour. Come alone. What do you mean “who is this”? It’s EJ Dimera, you fool.
EJ hangs up the phone and surreptitiously checks his gun and then puts it back in his pocket.
KIRIAKIS MANSION
Brady gets off his cell phone.
Brady: I have to go out for a while.
Nicole: Now? Wait. I’ll go with you.
Taylor: Me too.
Nicole: Stay out of this, Taylor!
Taylor: Oh shut up.
Brady: Stop your fighting. I’m sick and tired of it. I’m going out alone. Don’t wait up.
Brady surreptitiously checks his gun and then puts it back in his pocket. He leaves the mansion.

LOL I stayed up tonight Kpatch. This is so funny. I loved Stefano's rolling his r's and saying it twice, I have a feeling that Taylor is not going to listen to Brady and Nicole and is going to follow Brady. Thanks for the chapter. I am Looking forward to tomorrow's chapter.
