Saw actor Tobin Bell will be guest-starring on NBC soap opera Days of our Lives in a five-episode arc next month, EW reported on Friday. The casting had previous been added to IMDb. Beginning March 11, the 73-year-old Bell will play Yo Ling, the long lost father of John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

The storyline marks the culmination of John Black’s search for his father – a war hero who supposedly died in Korea three weeks before his son was born. He took the name Yo Ling.

Bell is best known for his role as Jigsaw, a.k.a. John Kramer, in the Saw movie franchise. His numerous other credits include 24, ER, Seinfeld, Criminal Minds and Wilfred.

me too i have watched every Saw movie 1 through 7 and Tobin is just an Awesome Actor he will do a great job as johns dad in the 5 eps i cannot wait.

Wow... imagine that. Jigsaw playing John's dad. Honestly, I didn't think they would even bring in his father, let alone casting him. He does resemble him a lot. But I wonder how did John even find this guy and what exactly does he have to do with his overall story?

I'm with you wendylou . I don't know this guy. He looks like a cross between Christopher Walken and Tony Geary.

i love Tobin Bell hes a great actor..but what if the show would of got Tony Geary ex luke GH to play the guest role as johns father..that would of been cool too! i am a big horror fan..and seen all of Tobin's Saw movies
