That's the thing, I think a Philip fan will find something to like in all of his pairings solely because he is in it!!

I can't believe they didn't fight harder to keep him.It's such a waste and I wouldn't blame him if he never came back.He really wasn't appreciated...not by them anyway  |

Here are some links to my favorite Philip moment. I love these scenes because not only did I love Philip and Stephanie, but we got to see laid back Philip just having fun and being humorous. I know Philip and Stephanie are not very popular here because how she wanted to change him, but they really did have some amazing moments and I believe Stephanie was really the first one that got Philip to begin loose the all the walls he had built up. I loved these scenes too. One of my faves. As you said it was a great moment of him letting his walls down and letting her in. |

I definitely can agree with that.Those of us who "know"Jay,are well aware that he wasn't putting in 100% anymore by the end. It was definatley evident by fall that his heart just wasn't into it anymore. Jay is the kind of actor that really digs deap and gives his all, and I just wasn't seeing that, and it pains me to say that because I love him so much and I hate to criticize him at all but you just couldn't deny it. |

Believe me,it pains me too.It was very obvious though to several of us even here,that he'd emotionally and mentally checked out even before his last airdate.It was so sad to see.It's not really saying anything bad about him to say we've noticed he checked out,I feel that it shows we CARE that we actually saw it.

That's true. After he announced he was leaving, he just phoned it in for the next few months. I think he started to phone it way before he announced he was leaving. I started to notice it around September or October, and then it slowly kept getting worse. |

I don't think Jay made his decision lightly.We did get a few good moments from him in that time,but it definitely wasn't up to par.

I'm sure he didn't like it that he wasn't the focus of any of the story. He wasn't even the focus of Parker's paternity fall out.
