I was torn between "Waste of a room" and "Wake me when it's over." Either way, this story is hella boring.

Was it over? I thought maybe it had only just started.. Isn't that the same room Chloe entertained her 1st John, the one she drugged? It was so tacky looking!

If I hadn't know they were going to have sex, I wouldn't have realized anything was happening other than kissing. I should have said I would have normally hit the FF button. Today I figured I should actually watch their scenes.

I haven't seen it yet but Chandler Massey said in another interview that the scene was very g rated.

I actually liked their scenes today, and I usually find them boring as hell (even though I like Will as a character and I like both actors). Will's talk with Rafe, and the fallout with Gabi, was surprisingly realistic. I loved how he couldn't bring himself to say "condoms" to her. Gabi pointing out how the room and the whole setup seemed "so middle-age" was cute and actually seemed like something an 18-year-old would say! And then the whole bit with the minibar made me chuckle. This is the first time I've enjoyed them as a couple together... which I guess is good, because I still think he's going to turn out gay, and this will make me feel Gabi's pain more if that turns out to be the case.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the scenes. I mean, they were sweet and everything and I can understand a bit of nervousness on both their parts being their first time but did that really constitute a love scene??? I think the scene continues today and we're supposed to see them post-lovemaking under the covers and no clothes on so I suppose that will be a little better.
What's with all the no-show of the first time sex scenes the past week? First Victor/Maggie, then Kinsey/Tad, and now Will/Gabi. I get that probably no one wants to see Magic going at it Phloe-style and Kinsey/T are minor characters but I guess all these scenes left me wanting more. You read in spoilers that two people are going to make love and then after it supposedly happens, you're like "that's it?" It seems to me there's got to be a happy medium somewhere between a Phloe (or Danloe, Phelanie, Safe, Stax, etc.) and Magic.
Does this bother anyone else? Come DD, I know it's got to bother you not to see more in these love scenes! ;D

Totally agree Sparky. "Love in the afternoon" is the core of daytime serials. We saw more Luloe and Ejole having elevator sex than we did of Will and Gabi or Maggie and Victor. I am actually more invested in the Magic than in Willabi (is this overdoing the combo names, lol?) and would have liked to see some romantic action in bed. I don't need to see Insert Part A into Slot B, just some romance and bare skin.

Exactly! There are ways of showing just enough to get the viewers' attention but yet hold back enough to not turn them off. I'm sure there are some people who thought some of the Philip/Stephanie or Max/Stephanie or others have been a little too risque but I felt cheated out of Victor/Maggie. I'm sorry but there was NO love scene. Just because they talked about spending the night together the next day doesn't mean they had a love scene. I think it would have been very tasteful to show them at the end of an episode walking into a bedroom, kissing, touching tenderly, slowly make their way to the bed, and then have the camera fade out. The next day, they could show them having breakfast in bed with their pajamas on. Boom! Love scene, sweet, romantic. But no, we get Maggie asking Victor to stay for breakfast and they walk hand in hand out of the kitchen. Um, ok. Sorry, this thread is getting derailed. Maybe it should have been its own topic.

You call this derailing? You ain't seen nothing. LOL. Actually, I think it's on point because we are talking about enjoying a love scene, so carry on.

Normally, I'm all for a good bit of afternoon delight. However, what are my recent choices? Great-grandparents, or great-grandchildren? Umm, no thanks. I wanna see hot 30-40 somethings get it on. Get Brady in bed with (almost) anyone and I'm happy.

I love Vic & Maggie but I really don't want to see Vic shirtless and Will & Gabi don't excite me as all hot & stuff.

I thought the scene was very tasteful considering the age the actors are supposed to be. I liked that it was sweet and they talked about it. Plus Will was all about the "are you sure, are you sure, no really are you sure" which made me happy, b/c both a guy and girl should both be sure and not pressured into something.
Hear that, Kinsey?

Here's how I feel about Will and Gabi.
I'm not feeling much of anything between these two except for the fact that they are physically attractive.
They said they loved each other, but it seemed like just words with no feeling.
They said they were ready to take their relationship to the next level, but it seemed like they were just looking at the clock and thought it was time.
I don't think these two were ready to have sex at all. Compare this to Philip and Chloe as teens. He couldn't keep his hands off her and they were touching and kissing all the time, a natural buildup to taking things to the next level. Contrast this to Will and Gabi who always seemed awkward and tentative with each other. I really wanted to root for them, but they have worn out the welcome.
