I think we've done this before. If you could tell Santa what you want to see happen this year on Days what would it be? For me, I want to see stronger women who are less dependent on a man. I want love stories but not with women who NEED to be in a relationship as Abby seems to be right now. Less violence. More romance. Less isolation of characters and storylines. Less violence. Oh - and since I'm wishing, the return of Jay as Philip.

OMG wendylou. You took the wishes right out of my mouth, down to the last. Great thread idea!

This is what I'd like for Christmas:
More characters interacting & families mixing together.
Less plot driven B.S. and more character driven
More stronger, rootable women who aren't so dependent on men. Better writing for women overall.
And less violence & misery.
I'd like to see couples happy for a longer period of time.
And I'd like to see more natural angst & conflict rather than contrived stupidity.

Without a doubt Jay returning as Philip.
I want to see storylines progressing without majority of happenings occurring off-screen. I want to see relationships slowly built, not ones rushed into for various reasons. Sure traumatic situations can bring people closer together but jumping in bed the night of the event is not relationship worthy material....neither is a relationship built on "Because so & so said no". Definitely need stronger women who are with a man because they want to be, not because they need to be with one to feel justified....and vice versa for Brady. I want to see less storyline repeats. I don't want to see Abby & Chad propped as the next Sami/EJ or Bo/Hope. If they are to be a super couple, let them be one on their own. Don't use other couple's history/storylines to promote the next ones.

Remove 3/4's of the snarky and all the stupid pointless storylines. Give the teens a little more of a back seat and find someone for Abe and Roman
