I know 2015 isn't over just yet but I'm working on a article for TVFanatic on the Best and Worst moments on Days of Our Lives from this year.

The worst is easy. Serena and the elephant saga. All the deaths. Aiden's character assassination. Neutralizing Nicole. NuPhilip. Too many important scenes occuring offscreen or in fan fiction instead of on air.
The best is a little harder, but if I had to choose something, it would be Steve and Kayla's reunion. The redemption of Teresa. I'll keep thinking. I'm sure there's more.
Looking forward to your best and worst column.

Let's get the worst out of the way first. There's so many that I can't decide but here we go.
Worst:
The elephant story
Will dying
The destruction of Aiden
Hope losing both husbands in a span of a week
Brady/Melanie
Chad's brainwashing
Hope revenge story
Ava story, (writers just stop)
Best:
Theresa's redemption, (granted it needs some more beats but this is one of the better stories)
Steve/Kayla
Ben/Abby/Chad triangle/Necktie Killer
Paige's death and the fallout
J.J.'s journey into manhood.
This is what I can come up with unfortunately. Hopefully next year is better.

Best - return of Gabi, Bo, André, Philip and Patch. The aging of Ciara, Joey, Theo, Claire and Chase. Patch and Kayla's reunion. As sad as it was, the Necktie Killer was a (mostly) well written story.
Worst - Serena, Justin's obsession with nailing Chad, Paige and Will's deaths, Evil Aiden, Bo's death/torture, vengeful ghost Bo.

Best - bo return
Steve and Kayla
Bye bye Clyde
No more aiden and hope love scenes
Jason cook returned
JJ and Paige reconciling before she died
DiMera returns even though they have had rough moments
Basic black run by the most fierce ladies in town
Worst- Clyde not paying for what he did to EJ and Sonny
Ben kidnapping Abby
Will dying
Aiden turning out to be a killer and then dying (I don't think it had to go this route to end him and hope)
Abby losing more
Brain cells by the day
Bo coming back only to die after surviving torture
New Philip
Jason cook coming back only to leave
Belle being a snotty brat
Aging Ciara and chase and theo at the wrong time and bad acting from new chase and Ciara
