Kpatch if you are off today you should just camp out on the couch with some popcorn and the TV on AMC. They are showing White Christmas, miracle on 34th Street, a Christsmas Carol and Last Holiday. I don't think its the original Miracle on 35th Street though.

I'm a Christmas geek so I just love most of the movies and songs in general.
I guess two of my favorite movies are Elf and Home Alone. I'm not sure if this would be considered a movie but I also love A Charlie Brown Christmas.
My favorite songs are probably O Holy Night, Let it Snow, Baby it's Cold Outside, The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole. Seriously, about the only Christmas songs I don't love are Santa Baby and the Twelve Days of Christmas.

It's A Wonderful Life is my favorite Christmas movie. I don't listen to much Christmas music but I do like TSO and Straight No Chaser who both sing some Christmas songs.

My family's favorite Christmas movies are A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. We watch a lot of the Christmas cartoons.

fluffysmom, can't believe you never saw it! You have got to... I am adding in the oldie "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire. It is where you first heard the sang White Christmas. Others of course, White Christmas, Miracle on 34th street & A Christmas Story (which will are having a live version on TV soon) That could be fun!

Skewing a bit off-topic with this, hope that's okay... I just watched one of those "Shorts" on TCM that they put in between the main movies. Star in the Night (1945), a "modern-day retelling of the Nativity story, set on Christmas Eve at a desert motel in the Southwestern United States." I love catching these little gems! |

This is pretty much my favorite Christmas performance this year. I love it. If you haven't had a chance to see it check it out. It starts out slow and not Christmas-y but it's so good. I love the Foo Fighters.
