Do you give cards or gifts to your co-workers? If so, what? What do you like getting? I want to give my fellow admin staff gifts and I'm not sure what to give that isn't too expensive since there's several. Lots of people have already given their gifts so I don't want to repeat and I don't want to give candy.
I saw a cute idea where you can buy a group of codes from Redbox and then print out little cards and write the code on them to split between people. I thought it might be cute to just stick a little gift certificate for a movie rental inside a regular Christmas card and say enjoy a movie on me or something. Any opinions?

the years I worked in a hair salon I did cards with a candy cane and maybe a tim hortons gift card but mainly what we did was a bake exchange also I like the idea of the movie gift cards which I tend to go to a lot when I don't know it all really boils down to how close are you with your co-workers? last year where I am now I was quite new so I just brought in baked goods and left it at that, this year I am a little tight with my budget so I will be doing the same and I learned in a place with all men (there is literally two girls including me here) no one is upset by me filling their belly honest opinion, I think it's very sweet of you to do something for your co workers, people often forget that we spend more time with them than our spouses or families so any gesture to appreciate them over Christmas, big or small is really nice. I wish more people thought like that

I agree with doolfan4life. It depends how well you know each person. If you know them well enough to know their personal likes and dislikes, you can individualize the gift. If it's more of a token gift, I think a movie gift card is a lovely gesture. How about a Starbuck's gift card? Everyone seems to like Starbucks (except me) or maybe there is a local restaurant where they go for lunch. See if that eatery sells gift cards. Or you can take them out to lunch, depending on your relationship with them. Good luck.

I did them assembly line style, spread out newspaper and spray painted all the pieces and then turned them over and sprayed them again. it was a double thickness of pieces and I laid out circles then hot glue on top then staggered the second circle of pieces on top of the glue. The berries you can just cut the end off a round toothpick dip it in paint and use it like a stamp. That goes pretty quick. You cut between 6 to 8 inches of ribbon or cording and knot the ends together and glue on the back. You make little bows and glue those on too. We had about 70 nurses at the time so I made them in my spare time. Another year I made gingerbread men ornaments. They smell really good. I painted eyes and buttons on them. Here is a link for those. www.appsdirectories.com/how/how-to-make-cinnamon-applesauce-ornaments-homemade-ornament-recipe.html
