It says in the article that he was to start shooting November 30 and therefore his scenes would show up in the Spring.
Since this is in a spoiler thread I hope it's okay to mention other exits and speculate. This just popped into my head. This will be around the time that Eric leaves and Jennifer will be in Eric's last scenes. Greg Vaughn mentioned gut-wrenching stuff and a possible death. I'm wondering if Eric kills or harms someone in Jen's family. I could see Jack appearing to one of them while they were in a coma on edge of living or dying. Total speculation.

I hope that's not true I'm so angry that these writers are doing this
I have less and less stories that are interesting it seems
Who know by spring I may not even be a viewer anymore
I'm a days fan for life but this isn't days this is doom and gloom
It's poor writing and I'm not sure I can watch much more to be honest they have destroyed too many great characters and sacrificed too many important ones
I hope these writers get sacked soon
They are awful!

Jack has always been one of my favorites. He's one of my top 3 Days males of all time. I hope he doesn't come back after being tortured and we find out he's dying. Thanks for posting wendylou! |

With the latest announcement under comings/goings, I can't help but guess that they will kill Abby off and we will see Jennifer see Abby united with Jack, bringing Jennifer some type of closure in her grief. Similar to how Hope is seeing Bo after his death, Jennifer will see Jack as she grieves for Abby. Just my complete guess work based on what's posted regarding actors leaving/coming.

I hope they're not going to start killing again even though it's a few months from now. I know everyone is all gaga over Chabby right now but I'd prefer to see her leave after finding out Chad was having an affair with someone. I think that would be a good way to send out this character.

Time frame totally fits, given that May is sweeps month...they will be going for ratings big time.
Plus, all the build up of naming Abby's kid with a full-on family name fits too, tying into the tragedy of losing Abby. And now leaving Jennifer to raise baby Thomas. Or will we see her in a custody battle with Chad? I think Chad as the father deserves the baby if Abby dies. I haven't seen 1/11/16 (Mon) epi yet, but I wonder if the baby's birth certificate/name will reflect Chad as the father?
wendylou I don't want to see Chad cheat on Abby. I do not know what the "old" Chad was like but this one does not come across as a cheater. Even Andre with all of his brainwashing couldn't succeed in getting Chad to cheat on Abby, so I wouldn't buy it. Actually, that was one big issue fans had with EJ cheating on Sami with Abby. With all of EJ's sins and stunts he pulled on Sami, cheating on her did not fit with his character. I guess I see these 2 bros as being loyal to their women
