wendylou I was wondering if his final scene is some kind of intervention and then he goes to treatment. Having both John and Roman there plus Jennifer made me think that.

I will be annoyed if by him leaving means he is going to die
they need to stop killing people and I don't care for the whole rehab alcoholic either
just leave and keep it open for when these writers get sacked too
I love JA as Eric cuz for one him and Sami look enough alike that they could be twin brother and sister and two he's dreamy
I don't mind this guy as a character but I don't enjoy him as Eric and also since he's been Eric his character was destroyed (not his fault at all, totally blame bad writing)
I just want them to surprise us with something original for once and give us a break from booze, doom and gloom!

I'm a Greg Vaughan fan but the character has been so over the map- Kristen, Serena, Nicole, the church. A break and chance to reinvigorate the character in the future is probably wise. I was intrigued by the kiss he shared with Jennifer. Oh well!

heroicmuse Thanks for sharing, but seriously, they are going down the drugs/alcohol path? How many characters are there in Salem that have this problem? I am a more recent viewer and here is my list, so who am I missing?

I'm sad he is leaving too. Greg is so talented that he won't have trouble getting another acting job. It's good that he has other sources of income besides acting!
