Sarah Horton Maggie & Mickey's daughter biological daughter of Neil Curtis with her back in town Sarah she could be a suitable love interest for Rafe or even for Brady which could cause a triangle with Theresa especially because if Maggie's daughter were to show interest in Brady could you imagine Theresa's reaction? Considering Sarah she is Daniel's half sister but she is also Melanie's aunt so Theresa would have to fight another member of Daniel's family for Brady and also Sarah she is a legacy character too there's that
Alexander Kiriakis Justin's eldest son Adrienne's former step-son Anjelica Deveraux's son with Alexander back in Salem, he can take over his brother Sonny's club of TBD or Alexander he can set his sights on the family company of Titan or Alexander he could manage his great-uncle Victor's club but with Alex back in town he can be a romantic rival of Chad's when it comes to Abby considering Alexander and Abby aren't related since he isn't Adrienne's son and also Alexander being a Kiriakis and Chad being a DiMera think about it
Mimi Lockhart, it has been a long time since Mimi has been in Salem and with Mimi back in Salem she can set her sights on her ex Shawn especially since he and Belle are over but also with Mimi back in town she can also be a love interest for any other guys like Philip, Brady, Rafe, Eric, etc.
Stephanie Johnson, Steve and Kayla's daughter Joey's older sister with her back in town Stephanie she can not only interact with her family obviously but also she can be a love interest for either Brady, Rafe, Dario, Philip, Chad, etc.

I like the twist with Maggie's kid and the love triangle with Brady and Theresa.

How about a re-cast Max Brady? Max you can bring him back, I mean he is Caroline's youngest son her adopted son and Bo was Max's brother too and not to mention Max he is Kayla and Roman's brother as well but with Max back in town he can be a romantic rival of Chad's for Abby because I remember way back in the day Abby she had a crush on Max when he first came back to Salem all those years ago as a race car junkie as a race car driver she had a huge crush on him
With Max being a Brady and Chad being a DiMera it writes itself really

Frankly, I'd just be happy to have the "minor" players who are still around really be an integral part of the show.

Hello everyone...I'm new here. Watched Days all my life up until a couple years ago. Friend got me back into it....
Here are a few characters I'd like to see back or new characters in Salem...
EJ DiMera- he's a DiMera...I think it's a law that they have to rise from the dead. He's been hiding in Europe, but returns after the murder of his father...again!!! EJ digs up secrets of the past that sends a ripple effect throughout the residents of Salem.
Nicholas Alamain- returns as a business partner of EJ DiMera. The two share a passion for car racing and together built the hottest international racing team and they are ready to dominate theAmerican market. Will Nicholas return to Europe or will he stay in Salem and try to build another hot pairing between he and Chloe.
Chloe Lane- Returning to Salem with Parker and Phillip, Chloe is determined to make it on her own without relying on a man. Landing a job as Nicholas Alamain's executive assistant, Chloe believes she is on her way to independence. Will she be able to keep to her plan working for the gorgeous Nicholas?
Kirsten Storms (original teen Belle)- either replacing Martha Madison as Belle and putting her together with Shawn -or- making her a completely new character to pair with Shawn and pairing the current Belle with Phillip. Either way I don't care... I just like the chemistry of Jason Cook and Kirsten Storms. On a side note, I would make Shawn a fireman.
Melanie Jonas and Daro Hernandez- Loved them. Loved them together. Writers had such possibilities with them and never took it. The two would blend nicely with the Shawn/Belle/Phillip/Chloe/etc...group. Melanie would return as a nurse and Dario as a rookie fireman.
The Ghost of Princess Gina- Although she has been dead for many years, her spirit/legacy is still causing trouble for the Black/Brady/DiMera families. Adventures abound for the residents of Salem as they try to solve the mysteries that Gina stirs up from the grave.
Jack Devereaux- Returning from witness protection after testifying against a terror cell for the FBI, Jack tries to return to a normal life. After learning that an old friend is retiring as editor of the Salem Chronicle, Jack believes the best place to start back in journalism and tries to get the job. Little does he know, Jennifer is looking for a change as well. Hurt and angry to learn Jack is alive via the news media, Jennifer realizes she hasn't been herself in a long time and goes for the same editor position. Losing his dream job isn't his only challenge upon his return, he must have to regain the trust of his friends and most importantly his family. It's not going to be easy, but Jack is determined to win each one back. Having slight pity on Jack, Jennifer hires him as an investigative reporter for the paper. Will Jennifer be able to resist Jack's charms? Will Jack win back his family and get to meet his new grandson?
Andrew Donovan- Son of Shane Donovan and Kimberly Brady. Looking for a less hectic life, Andrew returns to Salem to take over the Brady Pub After the death of his grandmother, Caroline. Not looking for love, Andrew can't seem to keep his mind off Abigail Devereaux, a newly single mom with bad taste in men. Trying to pick up the pieces of a troubled couple of years, Abigail is trying to support her son on her own, while dealing with trust issues, thanks to her father and exes. With no place to go, Andrew opens his spare rooms to Abigail and her son, risking her finding out why he is really in Salem. If she learns the truth, will it forever ruin her trust in men? Would he be crossing a line, by falling in love with the daughter of the man he was sent to Salem to protect?
Marcus Hawthorne- Husband of nurse extrodinaire, Maxine. Chief of Salem Fire Department and pillar of the community. Maxine and Marcus have a son, Caleb, a phenom high school basketball star, with an ego to match. Kicked out of his latest boarding school Marcus and Maxine can afford to send him to another, so he returns home to Salem. Caleb has a chip on his shoulder, feeling no matter how good a ball player he is, he'll never live up to the ghost of his dead older brother, Marcus Jr. Lost in a fire as an infant, Marcus Jrs death directed his parents into their life professions as a nurse and fireman. Being shipped off to boarding schools and feeling he can never live up to the memory of his late brother, Caleb constantly acts out to try to get parents attention.
Miles Hudson- The newest physician to Salem University Medical Center, Miles had to work hard for everything he has gotten. Born to a drug addicted, single mother, Miles dreamed of getting out of the projects and making something of himself. Always feeling like he doesn't belong, his only hope of a clue as to where he belongs, is a corner piece of an envelope with a return address of Salem, USA on it. As a young boy, he fished it out of the garbage after his mother furiously tore it to shreds and moved them again in the middle of the night. In Salem, he befriends, Abigail Devereaux, the mother of one of his patients. Working as a junior reporter, Abigail uses her sleuthing skills to help Miles find out his past, whether he wants to or not. The death of his mother, brings back the skeletons of the past. Is Miles ready to learn the truth and how the little town of Salem is involved?
Sarah Horton- a fiery red head who has spent most her life in Africa working with environmentalists to bring safe crops and water to the poorest of villages, returns to Salem with more baggage than her carry on. Sarah is not happy to see her mother married to a corporate suit like Victor Kiriakis. Although they don't hit it off at first either, Sarah agrees to work with Brady Black to help him revitalize, EcoSystems, an environmental company his mother started, but never got off the ground before passing away. Brady finds the corporate paperwork in a Titan warehouse, while collecting his personal belongings, after Victor and Phillip toss him from the company. While she still believes Brady is a "corporate suit", Sarah agrees to help get the company going, especially if it means going against Titan on some lucrative deals. Will Sarah be able to maintain her professionalism, or will she let herself fall for the "silver spoon suit" with the heart of gold? Will the real reason she left Africa catch up with her? Will she ever see what her mother sees in Victor, or will she succeed in breaking them up and taking Victor down?
