Now that we've had many characters returning to Salem and others leaving Salem who would you like to see back in Salem?

JACK! I don't care how. I just want Jack back in Salem for good. I think by the time I started watching the show he was already gone. But from what I have read about the character and the few clips I have seen on Youtube he seemed to have a great wit.
I would love to know what his thoughts would be about Abby being with a DiMera. If I am not mistaken, Jack had a bit of a dark history before being with Jen. Would Jack be more understanding of Chad and relate to him, or would he want Chad WAY out of Abby's life? Anyone have thoughts they can share

Well Jack wasn't too happy about Abby's interest in EJ when she was a teenager, but that was because she was a teen. I think he'd be more likely to allow her to make her own decisions and see both his kids as adults. He'd also definitely understand JJ's need for adventure as he had it too.
That said Jack should return as a ghost if at all. Any other return would destroy his character IMO because it would make him uncaring as to how JJ suffered due to his "death." And anyway we have too many husbands who cheated on their wives with the ISA as it is.

I suspect it's a coincidence and the writers of the EJ/Abby tryst didn't even know about it (since they seemed to have no clue about anything and it was never brought up), but around 2006 teen Abby very snottily announced she was going to spend the day with EJ Wells. Here you go: |

First of all I want to know why is Jay so adamant to coming back? the writing is generally better now, it just sucks that while he was there as fan most of the time I did not like the writing for him, esp when he was married to Melanie. I would love for nadia to come back as chloe on a permanent basis, under dena she utterly destroyed her character going so far as to make her a prostitute!who could not defend herself. I think nadia needs to come back to redeem her character. Anyway I know this ship has probably sailed but I would love for her and nancy to come back for revenge against kate for turning her into a prostitute many years ago. kate needs to be punished for something that vwould be must see TV for me.

I would love to see all the Bannings back. Scotty never grew up to my knowledge. Noel, Neal and Liz's girl and Melissa, Calliope, Eugene, EJ's Mummy LOL ....we need singing too, lots of singing!

I'd like to see Melissa and/or Sarah Horton come back. They could use an adult in Melissa's age range. And Sarah is pretty much a clean slate so they can write her however they want. Plus ... neither Sarah nor Melissa are related by blood to the Hortons, Kiriakis or Bradys so they can be paired with anyone (except Daniel!).
