I'm a Phillies fan but they sucked this year so I'm jumping on the Royals bandwagon since I went to high school and college in Kansas. Lots of my friends are big fans so I'm happy to see them - and all the rest of KC - so happy. Hope they make it to the World Series.
Watching the game now.

I'm a born and bred Cubs fan. I usually root for National League but I can't this year or my family will disown me. I'll be cheering on the American League team this year. Actually, it doesn't matter to me, just as long as it's good baseball.

Granderson's catch in the 11th was awesome! Grrrr Game 1 was a nail-biter, even before the extra innings!  I want six more games like that. Take it to November guys!  |

What a game. Extra innings in the opener. Not happy with the outcome though. wendylou, the technical difficulties reminded me of the Ravens-49ers Super Bowl game a few years ago when the stadium had lighting issues that delayed the game. It also changed the momentum of the game. |
