I wonder why we, as the viewing audience, have grown so accustomed to Single person + Single person = new romantic pairing. Why can't people be friends anymore? It seems like the only people in Salem are sexual partners. None of the girls have friends. Neither do the boys. I would love to see a boys night out at the Cheatin' Heart. Think about it: Brady, Rafe, Philip, Lucas (if only he would return), and anyone else just drinking beer and playing pool and having a good time. I guess all of their discussions would eventually devolve into the number of women they've shared (and the VD's they must also share, YIKES), but it would be nice to see some REAL friendships ANYWHERE in Salem.

I agree with that. There are a few friendships in Salem that I enjoy. Chloe and Nicole have a nice friendship...I love the dynamic between HOpe and jennifer as well. And I liked Carly and Jennifer's scenes a couple of weeks back when Jennifer was in the hospital and was on the mend from the heart transplant...As for girl/guy friendships, that never seems to work anyway. At least one will fall for the other...guaranteed!...if not both!
