This is not a spoiler since I haven't heard anything but I'm wondering if Ben might end up on the list too. I guess he could be arrested but it seems like he's going to be one of those guys who won't be taken alive.

I guess he could be arrested but it seems like he's going to be one of those guys who won't be taken alive. Good point! It does seem like death is the only ending for his character given the way the story is written. Out of all the deaths that have happened/will happen, the one character I most wanted to see die instead just walked off screen ... Clyde. He threatened the life of every man, woman, and child (literally!) in Salem and goes out with barely even a whimper. And to make it worse, we didn't get to see Victor or Stefano celebrating his exit from Salem. I wouldn't have minded seeing the two men that Clyde brought together raise a toast to his extradition to Florida before they go back to war with one another again.

Okay, I don't know how many months it's been now, but I have some thoughts/questions and am too lazy to place them on all separate threads, ha! ha! So mods, please move if needed but I think I should be okay
These are some things I don't understand...
- What was the point of Ben confessing to his dad in the police station if nothing comes of it? Clyde is gone to Florida and now Ben has kidnapped Abby. This is like when the show revealed to viewers but not to any character on the show that Clyde raped Jordan. What was the point? Again, we also don't have any closure thus far on Clyde being behind EJ's death or Sonny's stabbing. Will those storylines get their 'wrap up'?
- We have seen Ben worry about money before. Now his daddy is in jail, he has a pregnant girlfriend and is on the run. How does he plan to live? Are they going to live off the grid in the cabin from now on? Is he planning on delivering the baby?
- Where the heck is Sami? Andre just kidnapped her and that's that? Isn't her babysitter in California, or her kids living there, wondering where Sami is? She can't just indefinitely be chasing EJ around the world while the babysitter raises the kids without being paid because she is kidnapped?
- If EJ has this secret info on Stefano, why the heck didn't he use it before? You know, when he was forced to beg Stefano for Sami's life/freedom in exchange for all of EJ's interest in the DiMera holdings? I feel like half the time EJ was either plotting with Stefano or against him. so why wait until 1 year after his death to supply Sami with ammunition against Stefano? Why didn't EJ use it during his own life? Why would EJ want Sami to suffer for a whole year before she could defend herself. I am lost.
- Is Stefano losing steam? He didn't seem to disturbed about Chad's statements regarding Andre's desire that he never wake up. Has Stefano relinquished everything to Andre?
- Why did Aiden have to die, but keep Chase?
- If Bo dies, I have 2 major problems. First, why kill Aiden? Why can't he be with Hope if Bo dies anyways? Second, why did we have to lose Will too? Wouldn't Bo's death be enough of a loss of a major character?
My thoughts on the 50th year...
- This has been a bit of a stinker for a 50th year celebration...feels more like a funeral it is so depressing...
- Will Horton is murdered, Abigail Devereaux who is also a Horton is kidnapped while pregnant, Hope Williams who is also a Horton, was almost murdered by her husband on her wedding night. This has been a bad year for the Hortons, THE key family on this show!
- The Gala at the Martin mansion really didn't do much for me. So far, there is no Martin on the show. So why make a big deal about restoring the home and having the bicentennial/50th celebration there?
- Stefano has been the big bad on this show for decades, but the poor guy doesn't even have a storyline this year. I realize the actor may not be able to perform as he once did, but still, from a storyline perspective it's just sad.
- Once again John's identity storyline is resurrected, and once again we learn nothing. in fact, we go through this whole s/l about him joining the ISA again, only for him to be fired? What a waste!
- Paul...what was the point of having him be John's son? He has no storyline. Might as well have the serial killer knock him off too if they aren't going to utilize him.
- There hasn't been a single scene/event I can think of where all of the cast/characters are present. I would like to see that for a 50th celebration. Way back when on some ABC network soaps they would have events where every character would have occasion to attend. I assume the same is true for NBC/CBS? It would make for a nice 50th celebration where everyone had a scene.
- The sets...nice to see more sets, but now I feel like all we see is the Brady pub and no more club TBD. We no longer see Victor's club either. We haven't seen Chez Rouge in I don't know how long. It's like we see one place forever, and all the other places are gone. Then that set disappears and another gets to come on screen again.
- I wonder if Abby/Chad will be setup as the super couple of the next generation?
