Now THIS is the show I know and love! Many people were not thrilled that Will was going to be the next serial killer victim.Hell I wasn't thrilled either. But the truth of it is,many people didn't take to Guy Wilson as Will.I get that. It's not the actor's fault really, the last writers did a bad job writing for an important character to the show, and he had already been recast too many times. So the choice was simple.Sack him. Now,could he have been written out in other ways?Sure, but as a legacy character,I'm happy he went out with a bang. This is fitting of Lucas and Sami's son.It needed to happen this way imo. Gabi finding him and hovering over his body just as Sonny was listening to what we now know were Will's final words to his husband was heartbreaking. Then seeing Hope come in,not expecting Will, her nephew,to be the next victim was awful.Rafe and Hope both watched Will grow up and find himself,so it made these scenes all that much more poignant. But the one who really broke my heart was Lucas. He's been back for a few years now,and I felt they did Bryan a big disservice. He's had nothing to do,the character wasn't going anywhere. To see him come into the apartment, and hear him ranting in grief...wow.Congrats to Bryan on a job well done! I waited with baited breath for Sami to show up.I expected her to come back with guns blazing,in true Sami fashion, but that's not what we got.Sami walked into the cop shop, and without a word,no expression on her face, broke my heart completely. She quietly stepped into Marlena's arms without so much as a whimper.Kudos to Ali Sweeney, who proved that you don't have to utter a word,to get the message across.Sami is utterly devastated at the loss of her first born. I have to admit though,to being a little disappointed in Chad. He knows how much Ben hates him. While he figured out quickly he's being framed,it's taking him forever to figure out WHO is doing it.But I digress....Chad will soon learn who's doing it,and surely that will cause some riveting, drama filled scenes.THIS is what a soap should be! Now it's all up to Abby. The girl needs to stop drinking the Kool-Aid where Senor Psychopath is concerned (slight nod to Robin Williams there ). She really should have realized by now that Ben's really not right in the head.Who the hell tracks his girlfriend?!All the Chad bashing he does?Somehow everyone being killed is connected to Chad, yet Chad's not around right now?HELLO! I'm betting that the big reveal as to who the killer really is will be done on Abby's wedding day,and I can't wait Now it's only a matter of who is going to tell her?Who is going to finally catch Ben?Will Chad and Abby end up together in the end? I want to also take a moment to give Kudos to Billy Flynn.I read in an interview where he said Abby is the love of Chad's life, and I for one totally buy into that. He's been performing it that way. Chad would have every right to be pissed (can I say that here?),but I think he's going to end up putting his own feelings aside and he'll be there for Abby when the big discovery happens.I can't wait!

Great post jaysdelina. Today's show was all about the reactions to Will's murder. I really liked Gabi's reaction. She and Will have a history and he's the father of her little girl. It made sense that she fell apart. I much prefer a dumbstruck Sami to a screaming Sami. I'm sure we'll get the screaming. Lucas's reaction felt very real. Disbelief. The way he and Hope interacted was very emotional. I liked how Abby immediately told Ben to stick a sock in it when he started in on Chad as soon as she heard the news about Will.

Did you notice that Abby NEVER told Ben HOW Will died?I found it interesting Ben immediately started in on Chad.Wonder who's going to figure out it's Ben next.Abby needs to stop drinking the Kool-Aid like yesterday! And someone needs to figure things out quick.

I heard Abby tell Ben it was the serial killer. I must have been too busy trying not to cry to hear it,lol. If she did then I get why he started in,although it was still in poor taste.I saw he averted his gaze while bashing Chad again too.All in all, this and Friday's episode was insanely good!As for Sami, her lack of emotion worries me.You just know she's gonna blow then go out for a sandwich in true Sami fashion lol.

I suppose it's because she needed him to call Sonny, but I did find it a bit odd that Hope broke the news about Will to Victor. She was talking to him, touching him, and making eye contact with him. But both Maggie and Kayla are related to Will and have been part of his life since he was born. But that's not a criticism so much as just something I noted. I loved today's episode and how the news was broken to everyone. This reminds me why I fell in love with this show. It felt like it did back when Zach died. Will's death ties together nearly every character on the canvas. I am actually eager to watch tomorrow's show and see what happens next. It's been a few years since I've been so eager to see the next episode.

No one even mentioned notifying Kate, and Kate has just as close a relationship with Will as Marlena does. Oh! And what about Roman. I couldn't believe that Roman wasn't the first person Rafe and Hope thought to call.

Well Hope she is not just Will's cousin on his father Lucas' side of the family but Hope she was married to Will's Great-Uncle Bo for decades so I can see why she would be affected by Will's death she practically watched him grow up from birth so I can see why she would be affected by this loss
Rafe he was Will's step-father for a while since Rafe at one time he was married to Will's mother Sami and Will is the father of Rafe's niece Gabi's daughter Arianna
John he was Will's step-grandfather for pretty much his whole life since he was married to Will's Grandma Marlena and Marlena being Will's grandmother
Maggie she is Will's great-aunt and so is Kayla she too is Will's great-aunt
Ben his hatred of Chad is so irrational that Abby she needs to speak up against Ben and tell him to shut up for once never mind the fact that Ben is guilty as sin he killed Will and he still says that Chad did this
Chad to lose his best friend like this and then Chad he is going to be accused of killing Will never mind the fact that Chad he actually has an alibi he was on the run or he is on the run well he was at the DiMera Mansion while Will's murder was taking place and not to mention Chad and Will were close as best friends there's no motive there and Chad he won't even be able to grieve for his friend especially when all the evidence is going to point to him

I'm waiting for Hurricane Sami to blow, but you know what?Kate's going to be out for blood just as much as Sami is

I really hope that we get to see Abigail and Chad together for a while and thinking that the baby is Ben's child. I'd like to see Chad show that he loves Abigail and doesn't care that the baby isn't his, then for them to find out that the child is his. Since Ben is the serial killer, he's likely not sticking around. (Though I guess it's not entirely impossible since Marlena was a mass murderer and then everyone turned up alive.) I'm hoping that means that this baby will ultimately turn out to be Chad's child and not Ben's, because the potential for a DiMera/Horton baby has so much more meaning and storyline potential. I'm also just eager to erase the Weston era from this show entirely!

I heard that Robert Scott Wilson (Ben)is already done taping. From what I hear he's in one or two movies coming up.But I hear ya.I want the baby to be Chad's and I'm sure it is.Chad doesn't seem to be your typical Dimera to me.He's his own man,who makes up his own mind, and doesn't take any crap from daddy lol.I honestly like him.I may not like Abby much, but hopefully the new writers can turn her character around.I'd like to see them thinking that Ben is the father for a while too, because honestly?I think that as long as he's with Abby,Chad would love the child even if it is Ben's,simply because Abby is the child's mother, and he obviously loves Abby.I'm done with the Weston's.Didn't like Jordan,Ben was ok at first, but there was always something off about him,and I really can't stand Clyde at all.So the faster Pop and son are gone, the better lol.

I am surprised Carrie and Austin were not informed I mean Will he was close to his Uncle Austin and Aunt Carrie he was even sent to live with them as a teenager in Switzerland because Lucas wanted to protect Will from going to prison since Will shot EJ and Lucas took the blame for it, Will ended up in Switzerland but while he was living there surely he had to form an even closer relationship with Austin and Carrie
But also Will do you notice that he is related to Philip twice over? Think about it Will he is Philip Kiriakis' nephew since Philip he and Lucas are brothers since Kate is Philip's mother too and also Philip's nephew Will was married to Philip's cousin Sonny Kiriakis
And we all know Philip he is returning to Salem by Christmastime and Philip I know if he were here right now he would be grieving too since Will was his family Will was not only his cousin-in-law Will was also his nephew
And Bo the fact that Bo is not here and his great-nephew Will was murdered

I have to say though, there are a ton of things I love about this story.First I love that Ali herself said she wasn't happy about the story. It's nice to see an actor not kissing anyone's behind as would normally happen.Second, even though they didn't listen to her,I love that this story is happening in a way that's consistent and fast paced. How many times have we had a storyline drag on for months if not years on end,and we've all been disappointed with the final resolution?I love that this story is bringing out the best in most if not all the actors, and I love that it weaves more than just a few cast members together, actors who may not be on eachother's canvas otherwise. And I love that even though many of us weren't surprised as to who the killer is (let's face it,who didn't see the writing on the wall with Ben's behaviour the last few months?),we HAVE been surprised by some of the victims as they seem so random.
