Could EJ be alive? (Read 633 times)

Is it possible that EJ DiMera could be alive? If EJ is alive then it would make sense given how he "died" given how he was shot in the park by his own henchman Miguel who turned on him in favor of Clyde because Clyde got to Miguel and then the way they basically made it look like EJ was murdered by a drug addict and then Clyde killed Miguel to cover his tracks well Clyde didn't kill Miguel his man Jeremiah did well on Clyde's orders because he didn't want EJ's murder being traced back to him which was actually smart on Clyde's part

But then we saw EJ in the hospital on that slab in the morgue and his big sister Kristen she injected something into her little brother's body it was a syringe of some kind and in the syringe we still don't know what it was but Stefano then afterwards said that EJ was going to be with "la familia"

Next thing we know EJ's ashes or what we thought were his ashes were in that urn at the DiMera Mansion 

So if EJ is alive then it would explain so many things but also at the same time if EJ is alive then where has he been all this time? Or better yet if EJ is alive then why would he stay away from Salem?

And if EJ were alive he would step over broken glass he would go through hell and back to make it back to Sami and his children Johnny and Sydney like nothing and no one would stop him from doing so

Unless EJ is being held prisoner somewhere or EJ has amnesia complete memory loss and if he does then that would make sense

Yes he very well could be and probably is. They left it very mysterious when he "died."

I read a post on Daytime Royalty, which I think was summarizing an SOD article about Sami's return and I believe when she does leave again it is because she starts to rumors that EJ is alive and being kept somewhere by Stefano. She leaves to go find him.

But if EJ is alive and if he is being kept somewhere by Stefano then it begs the question of why would Stefano be keeping EJ away from Sami? Away from his children? Away from the rest of his family like his brothers Chad and Andre? Unless Andre he knows that his little brother EJ is alive because Chad still thinks his big brother EJ is dead and Chad he blamed himself for EJ's death in the sense that he felt guilty because at the end of EJ's life he and Chad were not in the best place as brothers

Stefano would make his own grandchildren Johnny and Sydney think that their father is dead especially when he knows that their father his son is alive

I think the writers will twist themselves into a pretzel to explain EJ's long absence from Sami. The man's entire story arch revolved around this one woman. And when he finally gets her, years later, he just disappears? Say what?

I also am very confused about the idea of Stefano not wanting Sami and EJ together. I thought the whole point of EJ coming to town was for him to be with Sami? That's why EJ hid his true parentage when he came on as EJ Wells, and then that whole Santeen storyline, and then Stefano needing EJ to have a kid or something so Stefano could basically use the kid for body parts, and also didn't Stefano say that the whole vendetta against the Bradys would stop if Sami married EJ? Some of this I remember watching and some is from what parts I've seen on Youtube or read hear and there as I am not a "lifer" when it comes to viewing DAYS.

Can someone please correct me if I am wrong in my above statements about the EJ/Sami storyarch?

The return of Andre makes me wonder if he is holding EJ and not Stefano. The reason I am thinking that is the scene from Chad's hospital room the other day. You could see how absolutely desolate Stefano was at the thought of losing another child. It is hard to believe he would keep EJ away from Sami and the kids but also from himself. Whatever happened I think it is much more complicated than Stefano holding EJ somewhere. That just does not make any sense. It will be interesting to see if we find out what's in that safe deposit box in Zurich.

If Andre is holding his brother EJ then I have to wonder why especially now that Andre is a DiMera especially now that Andre has been proven to be Stefano's son then what could possibly be Andre's motive to want to keep his own brother away from his family?

I think the writers don't even know. They just want to write something to leave the door open to have the option for the character to return. They'll come up with some sort of lame reason for Sami to leave town again...like chasing down the instructions in the letter....and then if the writers ever want to bring EJ back they will make up something at that time. That's why they had Kristen call Stefano and tell him she had taken EJ's body. That was the door they left for themselves through which EJ could return, down the road. Remember, we already have been through this door with John. If I remember correctly Stefano held his body and when EJ found out, he told Sami/Marlena so John could come back, which he did. That was when John returned with a completely different personality and got together with that Ava girl instead of being with Marlena, does anyone remember? I think Rolf may have been involved in that experiment on John *scratches head* BTW, anyone remember whatever happened to Rolf? I miss him. He was funny!

Geez! I have to say, I am noticing a trend of repeat storylines in one shape or another here. Maybe that is bound to happen if the show has been on for 50 years? Ha! ha!

If EJ is alive and if he has amnesia then that's a perfect way to bring Elvis back

I think it's purely meant to further open the door so that EJ can return somewhere down the road.
