John and Jack for me. I am interested to see the dynamic between Brady and John at this point in Brady's life.

Until i hear it announced that Philip is coming back...I could care less about who is returning,
I enjoyed Jack/Jennifer, Carrie/Austin (Sami), and John/Marlena in their day. I really feel fulfilled with all the stories already told about these couples and don't have any desire to see any more of them, beyond a short visit.
But if I were forced to choose one. I would pick Austin (Patrick Muldoon) because I had teen dreams about the man. Remember when he was on Saved by the Bell as Kelly's boss at the shop in the mall? And she fell for him?

If I have to pick one I'd say John. I have just always loved him and his 'that's a fact'.
I also look forward to Marlena, Carrie and Austin. I'm just meh about Jack's return.
I just hope they all get good story lines; not like when Patch and Kayla returned the last time.

I have to go with John because I really think his interacting with Brady could be really great. Those 2 really seem like father & son, so much alike!

I picked none...but only b/c I can't really see Day's taking a step backward with Carrie/Austin or Marlena/John.
While I like John, I don't like Marlena. And, I don't see a story line here without it becoming the John/Marlena show.
And, I'm not a Carrie/Austin fan. The happily ever after they have received was perfect for me to never have to think of them again, LOL.
The characters left behind on the show have moved on, and I'd hate for another John/Marlena/Roman or Sami/Austin/Carrie showdown.
Jack would be the only character I'd love to have back. Then again, I'd like to see real Jack, not buffoon Jack come back.

I'm bursting with excitement waiting for Jack to get back. He is my all time fave and I seriously can't wait to hear his excuse/explaination for why he's been missing.
I'm looking forward to seeing John and Brady interact, but that's about the only thing I'm looking forward to regarding him.
Marlena? Ehh, whatever.
Carrie and Austin? Ugh, please no. I see ZERO story potential with them. I'm actually kind of ticked off that the producers/writers/Dorkay think they are who we want to see.

Jack is the only one I'm excited about seeing back. I don't mind John being back but I'd prefer if Marlena, Carrie and Austin (even though I'm glad it's Patrick Muldoon in the role instead of Austin Peck) had stayed away. I want Lucas and Philip back!!! That's what would excite me and actually makes sense for the show.

I think that John has plenty of storyline potential that doesn't involve Marlena. The father/son relationship with Brady and definitely some interaction with his brother Stefano are what I hope to see with John.
I don't understand why TPTB ar bringing back Carrie and Austin. I am hoping it's a short term return.

I voted Jack.I get the feeling his walk about really isn't a walk about at all.I'm hoping something happend to him,he'll come back and yet again Jennifer will realize she messed up moving on without even bothering to find out what happend to him.It's not like Jack to barely keep in contact with them.I'd like to see them work through whatever happend to him,and I'd like to see him not grovel at Jenn's feet yet again,but this time have HER be the one who messed up and has to find a way to get him to forgive HER.
