Bo returns on camera today. I think there are mixed feelings out there about his re-entry to DAYS. What are you feeling?

Decidely mixed. I'm a Haiden fan though not a rabid one. LOL I don't like how Aiden's character seems to be in the process of being trashed to prepare the way for Bo's re-entry. If Bo had re-entered in some way that didn't involve that I think I would like this better.
I think Bo being captive is a good story on its own merits but it makes Victor and Hope look stupid that nobody questioned his disappearance til Steve came along. I would much rather the story have been that Hope gets some weird communication from someone that makes her realize, hey Bo didn't voluntarily leave me, or that Aiden finds out where Bo is being held in the course of investigating Clyde.
Either of those scenarios would have provided lots of drama and Hope being torn between Bo and Aiden. Instead we have Aiden suddenly being evil, or so it seems, so that we are supposed to root for Bo to get Hope. It's heavy handed and it poisons my enjoyment of Bo being on screen before he gets there.

I have mixed feelings about his return. i'm thrilled to see Peter Reckell back on screen, but the lead up and lack of questions by those who "know Bo" bugs me. Especially where Ciara is concerned. The things that man went through with Ciara when Hope was on the crazy train bound for Destruction City, I just can't see him walking away from her like that.
I've never really been a Hope/Aiden fan. Aiden does have a sweet side to him but his "explanation" of what happened to his ex wife seemed so flimsy to me. Too contrived. Why the recording by his wife if he wasn't up to something? I think in the course of his scheme he has developed feelings for Hope, but I really feel there's been an ulterior motive all along...whether it be her fortune or something else.
I guess only time will tell. I'm hoping that we get some believable explanations tho.

I'm excited. I love Bo. I do think that the character sabotage with Aiden was a low blow for the Haiden fans. Bo/Hope could have had the mixed triangle story line without making Aiden so shady. But, personally, I'm happy to have Bo back. He's one of my favorite characters of all time.

I always liked Bo/Peter and I'm glad to see him coming back, but I don't like the convoluted way it's being done. 1. I know it was awkward to write him out when he left 3 years ago, but everyone knows that things change, so instead of writing it as if he abandoned his family, he should have been presumed dead. It would still have taken Hope a long while to come to terms with that and realize she needs to move on, but it would have led into the current storyline so much more smoothly. 2. I like Haiden and there is no reason on earth to sacrifice Aiden and make him a bad guy. Why couldn't Hope have fallen for a nice man? It would be a much better story for Hope to learn that Bo's alive and now she has to struggle with feeling like she betrayed him and deciding what to do about Aiden. I'd love to see her torn up over her feelings for both men. 3. Aiden could have easily stuck around Salem as the only real lawyer in town. He could become romantically involved with Jennifer which would make things awkward for the cousin/sister-ish relationship between Hope and Jennifer. 4. Or go with heroicmuse's wish-list storylines which are always way better than what we get from the show. There are so many other non-cheesy, non-easy-way-out turns this could have taken that would be much more dramatic, far more satisfying, and wouldn't screw around with favorite couples and fanbases. I'm very disappointed in the way this has been handled so far.
