I saw an article Freddie did on his leaving and he made it sound like Sonny will be back. He's going to work for Victor in Europe I think. Wonder if that means it would be him returning or another actor. Also, don't know if he means soon or just someday.

I hate Aiden being scared of Clyde. I'm sick of EVERYONE being scared of Clyde. Victor is a murder/gangster. Stefano kidnaps/kills/brainwashes people regularly. Even they're afraid of Clyde. Come on! It makes no sense to me that Victor's hit on him failed. I've seriously had enough. I hope this is the start of Clyde's exit and the new writers get him off our screens ASAP! |

Clyde is big on threatening family, and following through on his threats. He's definitely protecting them, but I am tired of it. I miss MY show where the villains were still likable. Victor tried to kill his own son, yet I still love him. He tried to kill Kimberly and Shane, but I still love him. Stefano kidnapped and brainwashed the entire town, but I like him. He recently tried to have Marlena thrown out a window and into the sea, yet I like him. Clyde is a child molester hillbilly thug. I want my show back where villains aren't violent thugs who you hate seeing on the screen. GH is all about the mob, yet you love Sonny, Jason, and Luke. I could care less about Clyde. I'm tired of this newbie running Salem and the real "bad guys" being afraid of him! |

I hate how the preview and the spoilers for this try to make it sound like Aiden has some nefarious reason for keeping his attacker's identity to himself when it seems pretty clear (to me anyway) that he's trying to protect Hope. |

I see what you all are saying. Clyde is not likeable or lovable, but I do love the actor and his portrayal.

James Read is wonderful. He could have been a great long-term addition to the cast, but he came during the era where we had caricatures rather than characters. We need some younger villains, but Clyde was ruined the moment he told Jordan she wanted it too. I love the actor, but hate the character more.
