I'm wondering what everyone thought about Nicole bestowing her bouquet on Taylor. Was that a little condescending? Was it meant to be? Was she saying look what I've got and you don't. Or was she sincere?
I put myself in Taylor's place and if I were her, and my sister did that to me, I would be insulted. But that's just me. How about you?

I don't think Nicole meant to be insulting; I do think that she was trying to appear gracious and loving, while staking her claim at the same time. I believe she was sincere in expressing her pride in her sister. I believe Nicole is the one who put Taylor through college. Nicole isn't naive, though, and is ready to protect what little she has, if possible.

I agree with Susala and jkjpatch both! I believe that Nicole was trying to be nice and loving towards Taylor however, if my sister did that to me, I would be kind of offended too.

I thougt it was a lovely gesture. On one hand it was a nice way to honor her sister. On the other hand it was a slightly sneaky way to say "Keep yo hands off my man." Either way, I liked it.
At my wedding, I threw a handfull of loose flowers to ALL the women. It went over quite well. My sister's wedding is this fall and I'm looking forward to whatever she has planned.

I think Nicole was being sincere. She's been honest with her sister, and her sister hasn't been honest with her. However, she's genuinely happy, and wants her sister to be happy with a man, just not hers |

If my sister had stopped my wedding making goo goo eyes at my husband to be and then fainted I would be wanting to stake my claim too. If she was all that gaga over a guy she met once or twice and didn't even know his name that she couldn;t even manage to stand up, she should have excused herself. I think as much as Nicole wants to make nice, like me, she's got her suspicions. Taylor came back into town trying to get free hotel accomodations without nary a phone call in advance and has done nothing but tell Nicole how much of a mistake she's making marrying a DiMera right up to her walking down the aisle. I think Nicole is more sincere then ever before, but I also think she is still sensing that all is not exactly on the up and up with her sister. She's just being pro-active.  |
