Has anyone else seen this yet? I started seeing things about it yesterday. Wonder if this true and if it is and who will go. Late August is not far away at all. Who would be the serial killer I wonder? Xander? Maybe someone totally unexpected like Aiden or Eric (who just couldn't put up with all the bad things that have happened to him recently). I saw this too! I think it's going to be similar to the DAYaster where Jack was killed, so that they can kind of clear house. I'm thinking that all these people trying to get Clyde trip over each other and someone else gets killed by accident, and then Clyde starts killing people he thinks are responsible. Ooh, I fogot about Clyde. It would make sense for him to be involved. They did say some fan faves might go.
I certainly wouldn't mind Clyde being one of the victims. I hate to say it but I'm kind of excited for this storyline. I hope none of my faves go.

Some characters aren't returning until November or December so they appear to be safe. Don't forget Andre DiMera is returning so he could be a potential suspect in the murders.
I think it's likely that a Brady family member will die. If you look at the list of returning characters most of them are connected to the Brady family. It could be a current or returning character who dies.
I think it's likely that expendable characters like Serena and Xander could be killed.
I think the part about multiple returning characters possibly being killed is misleading. It's pretty unlikely they going to bring a bunch of beloved characters back just to murder them. One character possibly. It could be more than one if it's a character such as Gabi.
This could be very interesting.
Ben, Clyde and Serena are tops on my list.

I think that the most likely character to be the murderer is André, seeing as he is returning. We've got a lot of people confirmed to be leaving the show, so it looks like whoever the murderer is will be busy. Can't wait to see what happens!

It says that one of the returning characters is going to meet their demise.I'm thinking Bo,as Peter Reckell apparently doesn't want to come back full time.I'm also thinking one of the elderly set,Doug,Caroline,Victor,Stefano,someone could be thinking retirement.

I don't care who they kill as long as it isn't Maggie, Victor, Doug, or Julie. John Aniston is ... well, it goes without saying that he's the best part of this show right now. Suzanne Rogers has been loyal for over 40 years and firing her would be an insult. And Bill and Susan Hayes are the heart and soul of Days Of Our Lives. Plus, I think it'd just be cruel to kill Doug or Julie. I couldn't watch during the Marlena serial killer/Melaswen story because it disgusted me that they made Susan Hayes/Julie go through finding Doug dead, seeing him in a coffin, and his funeral. I know it's acting and all but for those two DOOL history and their real-life history are intertwined and I was just too pissed off to watch.
