Too much Serena BS over this secret that shouldn't mean anything. The proposal itself looks so romantic. Why do they have to ruin it?

I think there's a page in the Tomlin/Whitesell rule book that says if there's anything that could be interpreted by any member of the audience as romantic (even if it's just 1 person in a million and that persons happens to be nuts, it still counts), then they must write 15-25 repetitive scenes surrounding it that kill the romantic value of the material. And I believe there's also a footnote about a prop (an earrings, a backpack, or an elephant preferably) needing to be involved. |

The announcer mentioned the big secret like it's so darn dramatic. This stupid insignificant secret reminiscent of the stupid shredding secret. IMO, Nicole has no secret. She could be with Eric right this moment if she wanted. But she's not. She is choosing to be with Daniel. All I know is that we have like 20-25 episodes to go and I'm just going to try and survive the likely misery that's coming until then! If we are lucky, the predictable blow-up and shunning of Nicole that Daniel will undoubtedly do when he discovers this horrible secret is going to be changed by the new writing team or the "story" (I don't consider this crap to be a true plot b/c it's just lazy, insignificant, repetitive, fabricated drama) wrapped up very quickly.

They kissed during a very near death experience. It's not the most earth shattering secret. Nicole made the choice to be with Daniel. Serena is so annoying.

Yes! They kissed when they were half delirious and thought they were about to die. Then Eric told Nicole his feelings and she told him she loves Daniel. That makes this Eric's issue, not Nicole's or Daniel's. At this point it's just ridiculous, made-up drama and the addition of Serena makes it all the more tedious to sit through.
