I'm excited for her return too and that she's playing Ava and not Taylor! DOOL needs some villains and TB can play just about any personality. I WAS NOT happy when she took over the role of Carly on GH, but I came to love her. It was so disappointing to watch her as Taylor; thankfully she is reviving Ava this time. I hope we aren't disappointed like with Melissa Archer - but the writers are different, so I'll keep hope alive for now!

With Ava now that she is back in town I wonder if this is Salem's way of bringing the mob element back to town? I mean wasn't Ava a mob princess she is the daughter of a mobster and wasn't Ava's father at least from my recollection involved with Kate? Or was involved with Kate at a certain time in their lives?
With Ava back in town you could realistically pair her up with anyone in town really like Lucas, Rafe, Brady, I would have said Xander if he were still here but he's soon leaving the show anyway, really the possibilities are endless

Thanks for sharing! I love both of the actresses. I can't wait for the next incarnation of DOOL. I hope that the Tomlin/Whitesell era is soon a distant memory.
I wonder which of these two actresses will be on screen first?

I have a question: if Ava is supposed to be pure evil, (if she is), then how is she friends with Nicole, who's pretty much a grey character at this point? If Nicole and Eric do end up together in the future, I don't think Eric might appreciate her remaining friends with the woman who was responsible for his grandfather's death.
