It's not. They built the woods around the PD. Apparently that park bench is right outside the police department. You'd think the cops would overhear something useful once in a while.

I'm not sure they'd know what to do with the information even if they did hear something useful,lol.This IS the Salem PD after all,one botched case after another....

It seemed bizarre to walk out the door into a wooded area. Our PD is in the middle of downtown.

Our pd is at the end of a dead end road and behind it is the woods. It is possible.

Ours is on a street that was just the police station and a big open land. We even had a horse show their about 15 years ago. Now it is all built up with business.

My high school was near a big shopping mall. Guess where we went when we cut class. Once Mom went shopping there (not her normal place to shop) and found my brother watching TV in an electronic store
