I hate Teresa using Tate as a pawn. That will not endear her to Brady and she should know him well enough to know that.

If this is the writers' last ditch effort to get people to rally up for Brady/Melanie as a couple at the last minute, that's cheap and pathetic. They should have done that before Melanie left. And now there is no way Theresa and Brady can be a legitimate couple now with this stupid move. I'm done with Thrady. The show has officially ruined them in my eyes. Theresa and Brady should go their separate ways at this point.
This storyline has managed to become a complete disaster in just a matter of weeks. Pathetic. I'm starting to wish that Brady and Theresa both lose Tate altogether and he's adopted into another family. He deserves better than to live in a disgusting mess of a family.

One of the main reasons Ejami worked because both of them are extremely screwed up and they had a dynamic that worked for them. Plus I think at least E.J. and Sami were friends first. Theresa/Brady always had a very shaky foundation because they were drug buddies and there was never any love between them. Brady has never loved Theresa and he used her to try and get over Kristen. That's how their son was conceived in the first place! This situation puts yet another nail on their coffin and for me has pretty much destroyed any rootability they may have had left. Plus this makes Theresa look like an obsessive, psychotic stalker. She's risking the possibility that Brady may never want anything to do with her ever again.
This is going to be a very sad situation for Tate. As he gets older, he might start sensing the ugly tension between his parents and who knows how he might react if he ever finds out the circumstances surrounding his conception. He might end up reacting badly to it. I don't know if Tate is ever going to have a healthy relationship with his parents, including his mother.

stickywicket I fail to see how this is a win-win. To me this is a lose-lose. Brady loses his one chance at happiness by having his latest lover leave town and he's going to be stuck with a woman who may have potentially ruined his latest relationship. He certainly isn't going to be happy with Theresa, that's for sure. Also he has to be a fool to take back Theresa so soon after Melanie leaves his life.

Well one never knows, I don't think half the couples on Days should be happy with each other but somehow the writer's find a way to make them overcome the obstacles between them. |

At this point I'd rather have Theresa/Brady be with other people. I would like Brady to be with another woman that at least I can stand as a character. I could barely stand Melanie at all. I would also like to see Theresa with a decent love interest. But as of right now, both of them should be single for a while.
