I love Alcide too!! I was happy he saved sookie. He kind of turns jnto a douchebag (am I allowed to say that here? Lol) in the books so I like him much better in the show. I agree about Debbie too. IMO she deserves to die. But she's much worse in the books. Trying to kill sookie every chance she gets.
I hate tommy too Mrsm. You know what caught me Off guard? I saw someone stealing from someone's house. Then I saw Mrs Fortenberrt at Merlottes with the man at Merlottes and thought she was acting quite strangely. It didn't dawn on me until I saw Tommy holding her clothes afterwards. Like duh Vicki! Lol
All in all I thought it was a good episode but I really wish the shower scene had stayed true to the books. It would have been much better.

I caught that right away that he was stealing her clothes. He is such a bone head. He just needs to disappear. I hope he shifts into the wrong person and it gets him killed.
I love that we are finally getting somewhere with the baby. That whole thing is creeping me out!!
Somebody told me to not read the books because the show doesn't follow them at all. Isn't that true of any book turned into a show or movie?? I am not very far in the first book, but so far I am liking it.

I love both the show and the books as they each are different. Does that makes sense? There are thing I like better about the books and things I like better about the show so for me, I'm glad I read the books. 100%.
I want to know More About the baby and the ghost. They're not a part of the books so I have no idea where they r going with this. I want to know this ladies Connection. Well Obviously it's the doll that Jessica gave to the baby buy how did Jessica End up with it??

I am not sure. I am thinking it has something to do with Hoyt's house maybe? Wasn't it in terrible shape when they bought it?

For the life of me I cannot remember where the doll came from. All I know is the ghost lady that possessed Lafayette last night was holding the doll when it was still in good shape during Lafayette's dream before she possessed him.
Maybe the house Jessica and Hoyt bought was the house the ghost and the man who told her her baby died were living at?!?

I have some mixed feelings about the Eric/Sookie scenes last night. They are hot; very hot ... but a little too sugary sweet - it doesn't feel real enough. I think what's missing is Eric's humor. In the book he was sweet like this but still fiesty and full of himself and it's harder to convey all of that via TV. All in all I think they are doing a great job and I'm definitely enjoying it but I can see why maybe a guy in particular (thinking about what MrsM's husband said about Eric/Sookie) would find their scenes a little annoying too in spite of the hotness. At any rate, I know he will be changing again soon enough so I'm good with enjoying this Eric while it lasts. And it looks like they are going to do an interlude of Sookie with Alcide too and I'm good with that also. Like Vicky, I came to dislike Alcide in the books but there was a time when he and Sookie were close so I'll be happy if they go that route for a bit in the show. Unfortunately, the thing that Marcus said to Alcide about moving up in the pack is going to also happen and that's what leads to problems between he and Sookie in the books.
I loved how differently the real scenes with Jason and Hoyt turned out for Jessica as opposed to her fantasies. I like Jessica, don't misunderstand me but I love that Hoyt went off on her and that Jason is still trying to stand by his friend and didn't rush right to her arms like she hoped (I don't expect that to last too long but I'm glad he's trying). I'm going to enjoy Jason & Jessica but I like that Hoyt isn't being written as a total pushover or Jason as a disloyal horndog (though that pretty much sums up his personality in the books).
I'm also very intrigued by the story with the baby. I actually feel sorry for the ghost woman and now it's making sense how she is connected to the doll and keeps singing the Fais Do Do lullabye to the baby. I couldn't figure out how Jessica got the doll either but GG your theory about it being the same house that the ghost woman lived in makes sense.

That is kind of what I thought about the house. I want to watch the episode again so I can look at the house in the vision Lafayette sees and then see it when Jessica is sitting outside to see if they are similar or not.

The houses look similar. I can't be sure though. I googled it and did everything I could think of to try and find something or compare photos, but it was hard. All I can say is what I saw on the episode was they were similar.

Maybe it is. Who knows. I am sure eventually it will become crystal clear and we will all go "duh, why didn't I think of that?"
