Finally an interview that makes me excited about what is to come!  I hope we do indeed see a shift in Theresa - and that Jen isn't embellishing a bit like she's done in some past interviews.  

I am especially excited that Kimberly and Victor interact.  They have such a rich history between them - in addition to the fact that both actors are stellar!  The idea that Victor Kiriakis and Kimberly Brady-Donovan now share a grandchild is just insane.  I'm glad we will see the two of them on screen together!

Is there going to be a drastic change for you on the show as this newer stuff starts to air?
It’s a drastic change. When the new writers came on board, when they started, the whole show shifted. I think for the better. The producer that had been there for a long time has now become the executive producer, and he is standing there, and he gives notes. They tweak everything. Everybody really cares. The stories are so much better. I think the viewers are going to go crazy with what they’re doing. I think it’s really really good.

The fact that even the actors are acknowledging the show and its stories are better instead of just mindlessly plugging the show like they've been doing for so long in interviews gives me hope that it is indeed going to be a better show.  I feel like we've had 1-2 years of cast interviews where they're reciting from a script.  It's finally starting to feel like the actors are sharing their genuine thoughts about the show.

Oh my gosh, I am so excited that I don't have any words!!! I've felt the same way unavitasegreta. A lot of what the actors have said in the past year or so just didn't even go with what I knew of their characters and I felt like they were saying what the producers and writers were telling them to say.

Besides the fact that this sounds like a more real interview, it also sounds like we're going to have more than casual appearances by Kayla! YAY!

I really hope that whatever Jen Lilley says about Theresa actually comes to pass. This really gives me more hope for the show. It really seems that things are really looking up under the new writing regime and everyone seems extremely excited. I wish I can be that enthusiastic. And since Kassie DePaiva and Jen Lilley both seem really excited for whatever storylines they may have going on, I hope this means that Theresa and Eve finally get good writing. It's about time and I hope it's not too late for both of them.

I find it funny though that she actually can tell the twins apart! That's really awesome. I think when she does eventually have kids she might turn out to be a really good mom. I am all for Theresa trying to learn how to be a good mom as long as the writers don't try to pull off a child abuse storyline. But I think the fact that according to Jen that Theresa actually voluntarily gives her bone marrow to the baby even though she most likely might not even know it's actually hers at that point sounds like a really great sign. Up to this point she's been especially selfish and this might be the beginning of a huge shift in her character. I hope this baby gives her a bigger purpose on the show because this baby might end up being the best thing to happen to her.
