Thanks for the stills and video. That scene was a classic. I do believe it turned a lot of viewers into Phelanie fans. Whenever I see that scene I think OMG, big tough Marine dodged grenades and bombs (although not always successfully) and he's afraid of some homemade muffins. LOL.

I actually think most offliners were already Phelanie fans. When you just watch the show without agenda, it is clear to see the story they are telling. I like to poll people at the grocery story (LOL no joke) and I have friends who talk to the offliners in their lives. And they all knew the score with this. We get a skewed view because online fans are a select passionate few that really don't accurately represent the masses.

Can't say I blame her. I like my kisses neat and non lip gloss smearing. But Jay can feel free to spend lots of time on my neck....

I thought they had some of the sweetest kisses too. Slyn, is there a video to go with that kiss?
My biggest problem with Phelanie is that she never devoted herself entirely to him. There was always that nagging pull toward Nathan (IS SHE CRAZY???) that almost prevented her from marrying Philip and kept her from being completely happy with him. Philip said it himself. "I gave her everything, and this is what she does?"

I thought she was pretty devoted to him, until they had him propose to her.I felt that's when the writers took Phelanie down hill.WHY they chose to suddenly give her this great love for Nathan she couldn't get over is beyond me,because for a while,I truly felt she was devoted to Philip.

There was always that nagging pull toward Nathan (IS SHE CRAZY???) that almost prevented her from marrying Philip and kept her from being completely happy with him. Philip said it himself. "I gave her everything, and this is what she does?" Well I think it is very possible to love two people. that was the angst of the story...learning to realize that you made the right choice. The pull toward Nathan was a pull toward being a different person...the kind of person she would have been if she hadn't had that horrible childhood. And as wonderful as Philip was, a part of her felt badly that she wanted the "bad boy" over the good one. But even with that pull toward Nathan, she could never leave Philip for him. The draw was not quite enough. Summed up best when Melanie told Nathan - "All we have are memories, and half of them aren't even true." Melanie started to really believe in her choice at the end...right before she found out he cheated. And then it really hit her after she left Philip - that she had everything she wanted and it wasn't Nathan. How ironic, she was able to fully let Nathan go once she no longer had Philip. Don't know what you got until it's gone...as they say. So classic... At the end of this is that kiss...I like so much

I agree. IF Melanie were supposed to be in love with Nathan..real and true. Then someone forgot to tell Molly. Because she never looked at Nathan the way she looked at Philip. She wanted forever with him, she wanted babies with him...and she never once expressed wanting those things with Nathan.

Thanks for the video Slyn. I enjoyed that. Loved the scene where Victor nearly coughed up a lung after Philip asked if he's in love with Vivian.
