Have any of you guys ever been listening to music and then, suddenly, start thinking about a Days character because of the song you're listening to? Well, I know that I have. Here, you can post what songs make you think of certain Days chracters, and why you think they remind of you those characters.
For me, the main song that reminds me of a Days character is "Englishman in New York" by Sting. It makes me think of E.J., for some reason. Though I, honestly, cannot think of any reason why. Possibly because of the British accent. Possibly because he was all nice when he first showed up.
So, what do all of you think? What songs remind you of Days characters?

Right off the bat, the obvious choice is "I Need a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler. Since it was Bo's theme song, it always reminds me of him. I know I've thought of different charcters at different times, but I can't remember them right now. When I do, I'll post it. I can't wait to see what other people write.  |

Wow, I think it's cool that a song that has nothing to do witih the show gets you thinking about the show or a character.
For me, I think about couples when I hear a song that was used as their song on the show.
For examples, The Look of Love makes me think of Doug and Julie
Friends and Lovers makes me think of Shane and Kim
Tonight I Celebrate My Love makes me think of Bo and Hope. So does Holding Out for a Hero.
I Need You makes me think of Philip and Chloe.

A LOT and I mean a LOT of songs make me think of Lucas and Sami when I hear them. Something in the lyrics will remind of them, like "She drives me crazy" or any song that says or implies people make each other crazy tends to remind of Lucas' "passion" speech to Sami in Oct/Nov 2006. Also songs like Pink's "Trouble" or "Don't let me get me" remind of Sami, and Gregg Allman's "I'm no angel" reminds me of Lucas, but so do a lot of the "hero" songs and "whatta man" by En Vogue. Also the song "Hate Me" from their angsty days. The oddest one though is that every time I heard "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven when it first came out I would think about Lumi and couldn't place why. Then, I found a Lumi video that someone had made to that song (which is now gone  ), so at least it wasn't just me. Finally, it hit me that it was because of one lyric in the song where the guy says "I'm imagining a dark lit place..." It was something that Lucas told Sami back when they were engaged (early 2007) about how it was all he could do to control himself in public until he could get her back in private or even a dark corner... I'm paraprasing terribly but something like that. At any rate, yes, there are definitely lots of songs that remind of Days characters (or at least those two), including two songs I've had in mind for a while now that I will eventually use in Lumi videos of my own. |

Ah, I just remember another one:
"You and Me" by Lifehouse. It makes me think of Shawn-D and Belle. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that their song? I think that's why I imagine Shawn-D and Belle dancing with each other whenever I hear that song.

The song "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story.. I think of EJ.... just kidding!!! ;D Actually that would be more like The Devil in Disguise by Elvis the king himself!!!

"I Need You"always reminds me of Philip and Chloe.While I'm not a fan of the couple now,I was a fan back then.While their date that night didn't start off very well,it turned very romantic,and one of the best love stories of that time began,and I was riveted by it.It was your classic Cinderella at the ball story,and it couldn't have been any better,

"Do that to me one more time, once is never enough with a man like you" by Captain and Tennille always makes me think of Rafe, or does Rafe remind me of the song.....chicken or the egg...?? Oh well........

For some reason (and I have no idea why this is), "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson makes me think of E.J.
Also, "Evil Woman" by the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), makes me think of a number of people including Vivian, Kate, Nighttime Hope, etc.
