Anybody have plans for Valentine's Day?
Do you give gifts? Do you usually receive gifts? To/from a honey, your kids, parents, other relatives?
We will probably go out to dinner, but not on the day of. Probably a week or so later. I have a collection of gifts for Ron which includes consumables like Hawaiian coffee, chocolates, real maple syrup, and a box of tea. He likes that kind of stuff.

Aww sweet Kpatch. We gave the kids cards and stickers today. They each made a card for their cousins who are coming over tomorrow and Kyra sang a song she learned in school. |

Hubs and I are spending a nice quiet day - just the two of us. We went grocery shopping earlier and picked up some steaks for tonight.  |

Happy Valentine's Day!
We don't do much, just get each other candy. My mom gives the girls a sack of little toys and a stuffed animal and candy. She gave the sacks to me on Tuesday, but I've made the girls wait until today to open them.

I had an awesome Valentine's Day. Ron gave me white tulips and a painting called "Caribbean Home" by Roland Richardson, an artist whose gallery we visited in St. Martins on a cruise. It is now hanging in my home office where I can look at it throughout my workday. I gave Ron some of his favorite things. I made us chicken curry for dinner. We paired it with pinot noir. Those are lovely gifts Kpatch. It was a normal on the go Saturday for us. Hubby gave me a necklace. I hope everyone had a good day. |

I had a perfect Valentine's Day with my 94 year old uncle. He lost his wife on Christmas Day, but I think we all kept his spirits up by being together as a family yesterday.
