Can't blame Philip for being unsure of Chloe she has jerked him around so many times he just doesn't want to go through any more sorrow sad for both

Chapter 64a
In Chicago, Nancy and Craig were babysitting Parker at the condo. The little boy was in his room, while Craig laid on the living room sofa watching sports programming on the NFL Network and Nancy was sitting in a sectional chair reading Dream Boat by Natalie Brock on her Kindle. Alexander, one of the characters in the book, reminded her of Philip and it irritated her.
She turned to Craig, who was focused on the television and only half listening. “We need to get Chloe and Parker out of here, Craig. This is an unhealthy environment for both of them.”
“Yes dear.”
“This is Philip’s condominium and they need a fresh start,” Nancy droned. “When she gets back, I want you to help me convince her to move to New York and live near us.”
“Yes dear.”
“Craig, are you listening to me?” She snapped her fingers to get his attention. “You hoo.” Her voice grew sharp. “Craig! I’m talking to you!”
Craig looked at Nancy calmly. “Yes dear, I heard every word you said.”
“And you agree with me, right?”
“Sure. Whatever you say.”
“Good. It just burns me up when I think of the way Philip hurt my baby,” she rattled on, fueling her own fire. “I always knew he was a bad seed, from the minute I laid eyes on him when he came to pick up Chloe for one of those blasted dances. I just knew he’d break her heart.”
“That was a long time ago, dear,” Craig said. He sat up and rested his elbows on his lap. “You know, when Philip and I were in Salem taking care of Chloe until her memory returned, I was impressed by how devoted he was to her.”
“Yeah, I bet he was,” Nancy said skeptically. “He was devoted until he got her back. Men like that always want what they can’t have. They can never keep their hands to themselves.”
“It wasn’t like that, Nancy.”
“Don’t tell me you’re siding with him,” Nancy’s tone became indignant. “Well I don’t know why I should be surprised. You men always stick together. You know, I blame Philip for this whole thing. He’s nothing but a dog. A lying, cheating … Ow!” Nancy grabbed her arm and looked to her left.
Parker was standing next to her chair with his little hand balled into a fist.

Welcome back.Nancy! Can't wait to see how she deals with Parker. Though everyone needs to stop talking badly about his parents, either one of them, in front of him. Lol

Philip should be proud that Parker is so protective of him! But, I know, violence is never the answer. Still sweet, though.
Btw - lol @ Nancy. I miss her and Craig.

Bahahaha! Parker's at it again.... Not that I condone violence at all, but Nancy kind of got what she deserved... Nice to see Craig sticking up for Philip--that wouldn't have always been the case. SO good to see Craig and Nancy!

Kpatch you captured Nancy and Craig perfectly. Nancy certainly wasn't expecting that from Parker. She and Victor both need to be mindful of their words when Parker is nearby.

Chapter 64b
“I blame Philip for this whole thing,” Nancy stressed. “He’s nothing but a dog. A lying, cheating … Ow!” Nancy grabbed her arm and looked to her left.
His grandparents apparently didn’t realize they were talking loudly enough for Parker to hear them from his bedroom, and now Parker was standing next to Nancy’s chair with his little hand balled into a fist. “Don’t say that ‘bout Daddy,” he warned her before punching her arm again.
“Parker!” Craig reached for Parker and pulled him over toward the couch, shaking a finger at him. “You just did a very bad thing, hitting your grandmother like that. You never hit an adult! Do you understand me?”
“But she was sayin’ bad things ‘bout my Daddy. He is not a dog!”
Craig glanced over at Nancy, then back at Parker. “You’re right. Grandma shouldn’t have said that. But you shouldn’t have hit her. Now I want you to apologize.”
Parker held his spot in front of Craig and put his finger in his mouth. “Sowwy.”
“Not to me,” Craig said. “To your Grandma.”
Parker turned around. “Sowwy,” he said to Nancy.
“You are not forgiven,” Nancy said showing Parker the back of her head while rubbing her arm.
“Naaancy,” Craig warned. “Give the kid a break. He’s been through a rough time.”
“Because of you-know-who,” Nancy shot back. Turning in her chair, she said, “Okay fine. I forgive you Parker,” without any warmth in her voice.
“You think Daddy did something bad?” Parker asked.
“I don’t think it, I know it. He hurt your mother,” Nancy insisted.
“You mean ‘acause of when he was exercising on top of her?” Parker asked.
“What??” Nancy was confused.
“One time, they was on the floor an’ Daddy was on top of Mommy and…”
Craig stifled his laughter. “Parker come here. Come watch some classic football with me.” Craig lifted Parker onto the couch and put his arm around his grandson.
Nancy looked at the TV set and scowled. “If this is an old O.J. Simpson game, I will not allow my grandson to watch.”
“Not O.J., dear. It’s Gale Sayers,” Craig told her. “Feel better?”
“Well, I guess so,” Nancy conceded.
