I am not liking the direction the writers are going with JJ and Eve. I can't stand it.

stickywicket I don't either. I'm really worried that they're going for a repeat of Brady.Kristen where JJ decides he's "in love" with Eve, only to eventually find out she hired Jill and then have to make amends to his family over it again... Yes, I hear you, would not like this direction at all!

Me either! Sadly I keep getting that vibe There are two things I really really hate about this storyline. One is that, in my mind at least, it came out of nowhere. I know that the actors involved keep saying that Eve and JJ are connected through their love of music. Um, okay...but when they played music together before it seemed more like a mother-son kind of thing, like maybe Eve will accept JJ is a good match for her daughter now (of course she didn't but that's beside the point.) The other thing that rally bothers e is keeps being portrayed in many of the articles and interviews about it that JJ is really a bad kid and the whole transformation he's undergone is fake. I cannot and will not ever accept that, especially with all the evidence that his change is real and what seems to be manufactured bad behavior just to keep the storyline going.

She's a veteran actress who can clearly act her way out of any S*** and into gold....but to me, CM seems extremely weaker as an actor when near her/in scenes with her. She also deserves better than a story such as this.

That too. I really like both actors involved in this storyline but not when they're together on screen. Also I feel cheated because they appeared to be building an Eric/Eve relationship and then suddenly that evaporated in favor of Eve sleeping with JJ and Serena showing up in Salem. I'd also much prefer to see a rivalry between Nicole/Eve than Nicole/Serena (or Melanie/Theresa for that matter.)

I think there was a lot of potential for this storyline, which is what bugs me. I think it was pretty obvious they were headed toward some sort of JJ/Eve pairing from their first scene together where she opened the door with her blouse unbuttoned. There was a ways to write their pairing that made sense. Unfortunately, the writers seemed to be writing two stories - one with JJ and Paige and one with JJ and Eve. And the story has been told in such fits and starts that it makes no sense now. I actually think the actors have a lot of chemistry with one another, but the writing just isn't there.

I didn't see any signs of a JJ/Eve pairing until it happened, honestly. Up until that point it seemed JJ was just embarrassed that Eve was acting so sexual around him, and she just seemed like she flirted with every man crossed her path, so it wasn't a big deal that she was doing it with JJ. Then JJ, who says no to Rory wanting to get drunk/high a billion times, inexplicably gives in, gets drunk and they get to it... that's not exactly the underpinnings of a great love story or even a great hookup story. kristin I think it's written like two stories because Eve is supposed to just be an interloper in her daughter's relationship. I agree, this has been badly written in a thousand ways.

I would have LOVED the EVE/ERIC thing, and this movement away from it makes me think a lot of things about where they may be going......time will tell. Do not care for CM and KDP and don't see a speck of chemistry.
