I'm trying to reserve judgement on this character and this pre-fab romance but it's already hard to do that. We'll see. I agree with fluffysmom, I think the scenes in bed are a flashback. |

I think the scenes in bed are a flashback too. (As an aside, flashbacks of former lovers are preferable to the 15000th time we see someone remember something we already saw...yes, I'm looking at you and your guilty conscience, JJ)
I don't like the idea of someone being dropped onto the canvas that Eric had a relationship with, but whom we've never even heard him mention before, but I'll reserve judgment. I'd like to see Eric do something other than snipe at Nicole, so maybe this will make him watchable again.

I'm trying to get used to the "pre-fab" romances (good term!) since that's all this show seems to do now. They give us couples and tell us that we should be fans of them. It's frustrating, but given Corday's interviews now it's obvious that this is what is going to happen and we'll never have another Bo/Hope, John/Marlena, Doug/Julie, Kim/Shane, etc. love story where the chemistry between the actors is natural and the romance is developed due to fan reaction. I love Melissa Archer, but I'm not that big of a fan of Eric since he's turned into a judgmental jerk. I am going to be open and watch the story and see how it goes. |
