jayssweetgirl, depends on your budget and what kinds of trees they sell in your area. We get a Frasier fir every year. Six foot tree is $20 at Lowes. Douglas firs and Blue Spruce are also good choices. Good luck.

What's the best Christmas Tree to buy? Is it for an apartment? If so, you may want to make sure they allow real trees.

I ended up getting a 6 foot Alberta Spruce Tree from Target for $30 and it's the perfect size and height! I decorated it this weekend

We have two artificial trees and I like them. We are able to store them decorated in fact the one we bought already decorated at the end of the season one year. I know it sounds corny but I actually like just pulling it out all ready to go. We do decorate the outside of our house every year!

I love that idea stickywicket, taking out the tree all decorated. Saves a ton of time!

Our tree is prelit. That saves a lot of time. And my hubby doesn't get aggravated dealing with the lights.
