Melissa!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had completely forgotten that Tomlin was a writer at OLTL during some of MA/Natalie's best material. He definitely knows how to write for her and she knows how to act it, so I hope hope hope that this character is a hit. I adore MA. On a more cynical note ... it's a good sign for the character that she's Melanie's friend, you know, since TPTB just adore Melanie and Daniel. |

Is it just me or are they trying to make us like her? Making it seem like she's a character we all should know because literally everyone in Salem knows her... I feel like she's being shoved down my throat...

I agree Minako98! Everyone in Salem seems to know and love her. There has been far too much Serena worship over the last week. After only a week or so, I already cannot stand the character, which makes Serena worse than Jordan(I actually liked Jordan in the beginning). Also, to say that the actress is not my cup of tea would be an understatement! I find her facial expressions far too distracting and her scenes with Greg Vaughan aren't clicking with me. I have a feeling that this is going to be a painful journey. I'd take Jordan over Serena any day. |

I'll just agree with you all sevenna92, Minako98, and @dukeblue. I have nothing against MA. I liked her more often that not on OLTL, but Serena is bugging the crap out of me. There is way, waaaaaaaay too much 'Serena is the second coming' and way too little trying to actually just let her be and tell a story. The writers are being so ham-handed about the whole thing, I've lost any interest I might have had. I hope Nicole wipes the floor with her. |

I'm not loving her, though I want to like MA so badly as Serena. The Michael Fairman interview gives me hope that things get better and Serena becomes more tolerable. The Jonas-propping is not a good start for any character. I guess that's why Aiden had such a good reception.
