Chapter 24
The Horton Kitchen
Ben: Would you come with me? Would you run away with me? Abigail: Gee. I don’t know. That’s kind of a big deal. Ben: Kind of. Abigail: I was just getting my career back on track with some freelance jobs picking up secret agents from the airport. Ben: I know I’m asking you to give up a lot. Abigail: Oh what the hell? It’s not forever, right? Sure, I’ll go. Give me a couple minutes to pack. Ben: We need to hurry. Abigail: Oh, while I’m upstairs packing, don’t talk to that girl, okay? Ben: Which girl? Abigail: Melanie. Ben: The cute girl? Abigail: On second thought, why don’t you come upstairs with me while I pack.
Horton House The doorbell rings again and Bo answers it.
Bo: Thank God. I was beginning to think you weren’t coming. Shane: Sorry I’m late, my man. The traffic patterns have changed since I last was here. I had to take the Slosson cutoff around Misty Circle and then I was rerouted over the Fubar Bridge, so I had to double back over the Bamboozle Parkway. Bo: Well, I’m glad you made it. Hope: It’s good to see you, Shane. Shane: Hope, you are a sight for tired eyes. Hope: You mean sore eyes. Bo: Let’s all go into the living room. I have something important to tell you all. I asked Shane to come to help me explain to everyone….
As the group heads into the living room, Eve is coming down the stairs holding Paige by the wrist. Jennifer follows close behind holding JJ by the ear while JJ tucks his loose shirttails into his pants.
Eve: You and JJ are never going to see each other again, is that clear? Eve is startled when she sees the crowd in the living room. Her eyes zero in on the tall handsome Brit in the room. Eve: Daddy? Shane: Evie! Shane and Eve hug. Eve: What on earth are you doing in Salem? When did you get into town? Shane: Oh. Well. Ahem. … My my, is this my little Paigie all grown up? Come ‘ere and give us a hug. Paige: Hi Grandpa.

Shane had quite a journey to get to the house. I hope his news is as eventful as his trip!

I think that's the route I take to get to work every day!

Chapter 25
St. Luke’s Father Louie: Well Teresa, have you finished filling out the application? Teresa: Yes sir. Here it is. Father Louie: Hmmm. Teresa: Something wrong? Father Louie: No, not really. I think you’re exactly what we’re looking for. But … it says here your name is Jeannie. I thought it was Teresa. Teresa: It’s Jeannie Teresa Donovan. Father Louie, there’s something I should tell you. I have a criminal record. Father Louie: And? Teresa: And you probably wouldn’t want to hire me. Father Louie: The Lord forgives, so why wouldn’t I? Teresa: So, do you mean I’m hired? Father Louie: Can you start tomorrow? Teresa: I would have to check my planner, but yeah, I think I can make it. Father Louie: Excellent. One more question. Which name shall I call you? Teresa or Jeannie? Teresa: Oh. Um. Jeannie. You can call me Jeannie. Father Louie: Jeannie, if you’re not busy later, I’d like to invite you to attend our evening Christmas service.
The Horton House
Bo: As I was saying … I asked Shane to come so he could help me explain to everyone — especially you, Hope — why I was gone so long. See, we were on a secret rescue mission, me and Shane, and it got real complicated. We had to take the Autobahn around the French Riviera and then we were rerouted over the Italian Alps, and got detoured in downtown Europe, so we had to double back over the Sinai Desert, until we found our man. He was being held hostage in Eritrea, Africa. But we were finally successful in rescuing him and bringing him back to Salem.
Ben and Abigail walk through the foyer, past the group huddled in the living and start to go upstairs when the doorbell rings. Abigail: I’ll get it. She opens the door, bites her fist in horror and gasps! Abigail: Daddy!

Thanks for asking melly! This week, Jack's family reacts in surprising ways to the news he's alive, especially JJ.
Eve needs a favor.
Paige is confused.
Jennifer waffles.
JJ seeks guidance.
Bo and Hope talk.
