This all sounds like good drama except for flirty Paul. Not sure what his purpose will be. Wonder what kind of secret Melanie could be keeping. Hopefully it's that Daniel is not Parker's father.
I am getting the feeling that JJ is going to sleep with Bev. Uh oh.
Eric is notably absent from these previews.
Thanks @dukeblue!

Wonder what Melanie's secret is. Ooh Kpatch just saw your post. I would love that secret. Yes Eric is missing. I hope they don't get rid of him just so Daniel can have Nicole. Maybe they have someone else for Eric. Why isn't Daniel ever absent from the spoilers? Thanks for posting @dukeblue .

I guess we should be thanking Kate for bringing Clyde to town. Otherwise, we'd never know what happened in Jordan's past because she doesn't seem to remember. Oh dear! Looking forward to seeing what the character of Paul brings to Salem, however I can do without another man flirting with Abigail. We all knew it was going to happen. I guess she possesses that certain "je ne sais quoi". I wish they'd give Nicole a NEW man. It's always the same partners over and over again. Should we just go ahead now and add Hope & Aiden to the heap of couples that are never allowed to be happy? Disappointed that Drake is leaving the show again, even if it is temporary. Does this make any sense at all? They bring him back to wander around Salem for a few weeks, only to put him in a coma for 4 months and then ship him off again. I hope Melanie comes back with the news that Daniel's biological father is Hugh Hefner. That might explain a lot of things. You're right Kpatch, Eric is missing from these spoilers. There isn't anything about Ben either. Looking forward to Kristen's jaw-dropping stunt and Chad & Kate. I wonder what kind of dynamic they are referring to?

I will probably regret this, but I'm excited for Melanie's return. The show needs a shake-up and she did always provide the drama. I just hope she/the actress have matured a bit this time.
I really hope that this Brady/Theresa pregnancy is done well. I love story lines like these on soap operas. I have little faith in these writers, but I'm going to be optimistic.
By "tested", I hope the spoilers mean that Sonny and Will realize that they only got married because they're the sole gay guys in town and Salem needed to have the first gay wedding and that their marriage is just not meant to be. I wish!
I have no interest in JJ/Paige. I wish Jill would stick around. I like her a lot. The actress has a great presence on screen.
There's no mention of Abigail and Ben's romance. I can't say that upsets me.

I share your sentiments about JJ & Paige and Ben & Abigail unavitasegreta. In both cases, I feel these couples were forced together. I just don't see either one as an epic love story in the making.

This show has a bad habit of telling us who we should like together. They brought Paige on for JJ. They brought Ben on for Abigail. They brought Jordan on for Rafe. It rarely ever works when you force the audience to like the pairing. It could also be that the show has another bad habit of hiring beautiful people instead of people who can act! (I consider Hope/Aiden too early to be able to decide yet. They might work, for once - especially since the guy who plays Aiden knows how to act!)

I am back in the undecided camp again with Hope & Aiden. They started off really strong, but the pacing has not done them any favors. The writers really need to get this pairing off the ground, if they want viewers to become invested.

I agree @dukeblue. The slow build up was fine at first, but now it's time for things to speed up and that's just not happening. With EJ and Sami gone, they're just bringing in new people rather than make room for Hope/Aiden, it seems.
I think part of me also feels annoyed that they're telling me I should like Hope/Aiden because they brought him on specifically for her. I actually enjoy stories where we don't know if the characters will end up together or not. That's why I'm interested in Jordan/Chad. Is he using her or what? I don't know. It could go either way. We know Chad wasn't brought back to be her romantic partner so there's mystery there. Aiden was brought on specifically for Hope. I actually think he's had the best natural chemistry with Jennifer, but there's obviously nothing ever going to happen there since we've known all along that AIden is for Hope, Hope, Hope. It was clear that Aiden was Hope's new love interest. No mystery there. He's for Hope. Yet he's got great chemistry with Jennifer and Kayla. I'd much prefer to wonder if they'll end up together rather than know that eventually Aiden and Hope will get together, which is (OMG, what a shock!) exactly what happened. They'll have some drama and some interlopers, but they'll get back together because, yep, he was brought on to be her romantic partner.
The same logic applies for JJ/Paige. I have no interest in these stupid dramas they create for them because they're obviously going to get back together every time. She's the only girl his age. The show has no interest in the chemistry JJ has with Bev or with Jill. They ignore all that to put him back with Paige always.
(Do I sound really negative? I feel like I do. I don't mean to be a downer!)

I would have preferred to see some build up to the relationship between JJ & Paige, as opposed to the whole "love at first sight" type of deal. It doesn't sit well with me that other "adult" characters are now being used to prop this relationship that is only a few months in the making. They brought Julie back to talk to Eve, Kayla has emerged from the shadows to defend JJ's honor and befriend Paige, Daniel is now channeling his inner Oprah and giving away keys, yelling at Eve, yelling at Jennifer...all in the name of this young love. On top of all of that, the return of Eve has been wasted so far and Jack's memory is being dragged through the mud to provide some drama.
**Just an added thought: I really don't see what the shame would be in having JJ and Paige be a happy couple doing regular teenage things. Not every couple on the show must constantly be having problems to be enjoyable to watch. It's almost a given that there will be drama with older couples, but these two are barely out of high school.

I'm very curious about the dynamic between Kate and Chad. She has been with many younger men. I wonder if Chad will be next.
I'm trying to keep an open mind about Melanie's return.
I'm all for a Daniel and Nicole relationship if it gives me a break from the Dannifer drama and the depressing scenes between Eric and Nicole.
I want to see Eve in a storyline with people over 25.
I hope the Jordan revelation is good.
I'm not sad that Ben isn't mentioned.

You know who also isn't mentioned? Rafe! That makes me happy. I have not really ever enjoyed his character. I loved Galen on Passions, but I don't like Rafe all that much. Ben feels like a 'new' Rafe. He's quick to react with violence and always seems like he's trying to save a woman.
A month of minimal Ben, Rafe and no Will could be fabulous!

I wonder what Melanie's secret is? Perhaps it has to do with her mother Carly or it has to do with something else
