Just wondering how everyone feels about the way the final scenes for the departing/departed characters (EJ and Sami) are playing out.
I have mixed feelings. It's nice to see everyone mending fences and being nice, but on the other hand it's been a little sappy for a soap.
Thoughts?

I liked EJ and Nicole's final scene. They weren't buddies but they seemed to have an understanding. They were both at a point of wishing happiness for the other.
I liked EJ having fun with the kids before he died.

I thought the EJ/Nicole scene was the best goodbye. It was realistic but showcased how far their relationship had evolved. Im not enjoying Sami's departure but then I'm not a big Sami fan.

With the exception of EJ's scene with Will, I thought all of them were good. I enjoyed watching the heated argument between EJ and Chad. I thought it was appropriate and liked the bit of history that was included.
EJ's final scene with Caroline was nice. Having them look at one of the children's drawings and hug each other was touching. I liked his goodbye to Nicole and am glad that it happened. I thought EJ's goodbye to Sami was the best by far though.
