I'm not sure if anyone has read this, but Jason47 reported today that the three people waiting for Sami in the DiMera living room are executives that are offering to do a movie about Sami's life.
Sami will be leaving Salem and moving to Los Angeles to focus on the movie. Apparently, this will be her exit!
What does everyone think about this?

I saw this in the new issue of TV Guide. Seems like a weird exit. But it enables her and the kids to return to Salem now and then.

I am shocked! This is really disappointing. I hope they at least address the issue of Stefano and any possible threats from him.
I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic.

Very weird. If she's in trouble with the SEC, well, California is still in the U.S. I expected her to seek asylum in Europe.

This sounds awful. I won't say it actually IS awful until we see how it plays out but...WTH? How will Sami be protected from Stefano or the SEC in California? So weird.

There has been some buzz on Twitter that the exit story for AMC's Erica Kane was very similar(Hollywood executive wanting to turn her memoir into a movie).

Someone thinks her (unwritten) memoir is worth turning into a movie? I would hang myself if I had to sit through the Sami Brady Story movie. Maybe that's just the cover for whisking her out of the country.

Kpatch, haven't we been sitting through the Sami Brady story for years now? LOL! I think the exit story of Hollywood and a movie deal is dumb, especially given what is on-screen now being the SEC and the threat of Stefano whisking away his grandkids. But they were never going to be completely hidden away and protected because of Allie. They'd still have to address Lucas visiting Allie or her coming back to spend time with him, so that couldn't happen if Sami was truly in hiding from Stefano.

This really could rank up there with some of the dumber ideas from Days writers.... Can't Sami just go upstairs like half of Salem's previous residents?

I'm glad Will will be going too, even if not permanently. I need a break from Will. I don't think I'd be saying that if Chandler Massey was still in the role. He was one of my favorites.

I am hoping Will's absence from Salem will cause Sonny to do some thinking about his marriage and what he is willing to put up with going forward.
I need a break from Will also. I hope they continue to feature Sonny because it would be nice to see him as an individual.
