My theory as far as EJ goes:

I think Stefano he will have his trusty doctor, Dr. Rolf, be the one to bring EJ back from the brink of death and that Rolf will somehow bring EJ back from death literally but that EJ will be in a coma in an undisclosed location in some kind of secret laboratory high-tech state of the art facility where EJ he will be in a coma and somehow Stefano will program EJ into coming out of his coma and EJ will awaken from his coma and when he does he will have no memory of Sami or his children or he won't remember anything at all

Stefano then when the time is right he will program EJ into being his new "Pawn" much like how John was Stefano's "Pawn" and John became Robo John, I can see EJ becoming Robo EJ in the sense that he will be like Stefano's perfect soldier programmed to follow his every command

Because I do not think EJ is dead even though we did see him get shot and we did see a body I somehow think Kristen injecting that needle into EJ, and Stefano acting quickly that it will be revealed after some time that EJ is alive and programmed into being a DiMera with brainwashing/mind control

Interesting theory terry! I do think that Stefano has his own plans for EJ, but I will be surprised if viewers actually find out what those plans are anytime soon.

I think things will be left hanging as they are for a long time.

I would be surprised if the writers have a story planned yet. I think they want to leave the door open.

Jason47 reported today that James Scott's name has been removed from the credits. This usually indicates that the actor or actress has finished their appearances with the show.

I agree with fluffysmom. I don't think the writers have any future storyline ideas just yet.
