Well, it appears that Peter is not returning at this time. He has been quite active on Twitter today. He has been tweeting about his decision to leave Days in the first place, his family, etc. Here are some of his latest comments: "Weeks ago you filled me in on what was happening with Hope's storyline. I called the show to see if it was time for Bo to make an appearance"
"With the connection Bo and Hope have always shared, I thought he could give her the OK to move on with her life, in a dream or something."
But the writers have written far ahead, and my suggestions are a bit too late. Which makes sense, so nothing came of that conversation."
"Sorry if I got your hopes up re Days.When I said there's movement, its for something else. That Old saying about doors opening and closing;)"

He should have contacted them 6 months ago. I wonder if some of this is meant purely to generate fan support for him.

It sounds to me like he had no intention of returning for a long term stint anyway. His tweet about appearing in one of Hope's dreams made it seem like he was willing to return to provide closure. He also made a few comments about wanting to be at home with his family.

Yeah, and he'd mentioned a couple months ago too that he would return to provide fans closure. I think that was what led to that interview KA gave where she said Peter stirs the fans up for nothing.

I think Peter's tweets are doing him more harm than good. He left for whatever reason. I really think he thought the show would beg him to come back.

I think the show did try a couple times to reach an agreement with him, so it just makes PR look worse. You can only hold out for so long or people eventually stop trying. |
