I think it would depend on how things are written. At this point, I am not sure that I could root for Bo either. I think a part of me would feel that his return was just a way of stealing some of the attention that Kristian has worked so hard for. She was left to wander around Salem for almost two years without much of a storyline because of Peter's decison to leave.
I'm happy that Hope is moving on and approaching front-burner status again.

I blame the writers for that. It's their job to create story for characters, not just couples. They let Hope flounder for too long.

I feel the same way. They spent two years waiting for Peter/Bo to return and thus Hope was kept in limbo. She's finally got a life and a story again and I don't really want to see Bo for a long time. I do think that Bo/Hope are one of the enduring relationships on this show, much like John and Marlena. They will end up together "in the end" but I'm not ready for that yet. If the show ended next year, I'd want Bo and Hope back together for "all the days of our lies" but I need some non-Bope time for a while. |

I am thinking it is probably to wrap up the storyline or maybe with Ali and James gone they are willing to pay Peter what he wants.

If Bo does come back, I want him to be redeemed by having been unable to return due to being kidnapped or held captive or something. But they just did that for Jack a few years ago so I think we need more time.

It didn't sound like money was the issue for him. It seemed like he wanted to have a storyline.

Difficult to figure out if this is related to the show or not, but if it is, things appear to be moving along quickly.

It seems odd that he can announce stuff like this via Twitter. The show is so insane about news and spoilers being leaked. They haven't even announced Molly Burnett is returning as Mel and yet she's back in less than a month, I believe! That's my only hesitation about Peter. If something does happen next week, I'll have a bit more respect that he's not jerking us all around yet again. But it does seem odd that they'd let him announce a return so very many months in advance. At this point we wouldn't see Bo until at least Summer 2015 since they're apparently shooting April-ish shows right now. |

I think in his interview Ken Corday said she was returning. It does seem odd though that Peter is allowed to be saying this.
