You can thank Wimbledon for this!! But: NBC is carrying the Wimbledon all week in the morning. They plan to end on time.....BUT, in the event the tennis runs over the allotted time, NBC sports will carry it......and Days will be pre-empted in all markets. FYI, I wasn't sure what thread to post this in, so please move this to the correct thread if necessary BOO HISS!!

If they know ahead of time that tennis will be shown, don't they just hold the episodes till it's over? Like, we aren't missing anything, it's just like a long weekend. No?

If it's preempted everywhere then no we don't miss anything. I am not sure if Canada still gets a new episode. The ladies from Canada would have to answer that.
Today at my house Days started about 10 minutes in due to tennis running long. I just listened to the beginning on soapnet while here at MH. I will miss that option when soapnet goes off the air. Especially on Days where some news brief interrupts for 20 minutes.

Also, that means I don't get a Wednesday or Thursday (thurs, fri or US) episode but may get Monday's.

So if it's a US planned pre-emption then you don't get it either. That's a bummer but I guess they don't want you to get too many days ahead.
