Hopefully Theresa will figure out how to save herself because apparently no one will do it for her. I think Anne's the only friend she has at this point.

Chapter 10

APARTMENTS
Mary Beth watched as Paige fell down the stairs. When Paige hit the bottom, Mary Beth just stood there, stunned, for a moment.
MARY BETH: Oh, god. What have I done?
She pulled out her cell phone and dialed a number.
MARY BETH: I need an ambulance to the apartments on Redrum Road. My friend just fell down the stairs.
Pause.
MARY BETH: I can't tell. I don't know.
Pause.
MARY BETH: Okay, thanks.
Mary Beth hung up and dialed another number.

SALEM PLACE
Eve was walking through Salem Place when her phone rang.
EVE: Hello?
Pause.
EVE: Wait a minute, slow down. What now?
Pause. A concerned look came across Eve's face.
EVE: I'll be right there.
Eve put her phone away and ran.

DIMERA MANSION
CHAD: Do you know why you're here?
CASSIE: I live here. Or, at least, I used to.
CHAD: When you lived here, who did you live with?
CASSIE: My brother and our father.
Chad turned to Rolf.
CHAD: Where is the other Gemini?
ROLF: I have not been able to locate him.
CASSIE: He is in Italy.

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Teresa was still sleeping at her desk. Anne walked in.
ANNE: Hey.
Anne slammed a book on the desk. Teresa jerked awake.
ANNE: Wake up!
TERESA: Jesus, Anne! What was that for?
ANNE: Had to wake you up somehow. Anyway, you and I have something important to discuss.
TERESA: What's that?
ANNE: It means to consider or examine by way of speaking, but that's not important right now. What is important is what we have to discuss.
TERESA: Okay. What do we have to discuss?
Anne held up a spoon with a small burn mark on the bottom.
ANNE: This.

[Kpatch]

Redrum Road! Murder backwards. Oh no. I hope Paige is okay. I am picturing Eve running through Salem Place in her high heels.

Uh oh, looks like Teresa is busted!

Chapter 11

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Eve rushed in just as Paige was brought in on a stretcher.
EVE: What happened? What's going on?
NURSE: Excuse us.
Eve walked over to Kayla.
EVE: Dr. Brady, what's going on?
KAYLA: I don't know yet. As soon as I do, I'll let you know.
Kayla and the nurses wheeled Paige into another room. Mary Beth walked in.
MARY BETH: Everything okay?
Eve pulled Mary Beth into another room.
EVE: What did you do to my baby girl?

DIMERA MANSION
CHAD: How do you know that?
Chad turned to Rolf.
CHAD: How does she know that?
ROLF: It is part of an experiment I am working on with Cassandra, here. As twins, she and her brother have always had a very strong bond. I, however, wanted to see if I could make it stronger. And I have. Once I have the brother, the experiment will be complete. For right now, it is only half done. Cassandra can now sense exactly where her brother is and if he is in danger.
CHAD: I see. So, Cassie, where in Italy?
CASSIE: Rome. The Vatican.
CHAD: Excellent.
Chad got out his cell phone and dialed a number.
CHAD: You're going on a little trip.
Pause.
CHAD: The Vatican. You're going to find Rex DiMera for us.
Pause.
CHAD: Oh, don't worry, Stan. Your boss has given you permission.
Chad chuckled, evilly.

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
ANNE: What the hell is this?
TERESA: It's a spoon, Anne. Duh.
ANNE: Do you think I'm stupid? Do I look stupid to you?
TERESA: Well...
ANNE: Don't answer that. Teresa, what are you doing? I mean, really? I knew about the coke, but this is a whole new level.
TERESA: I was just trying it out. This whole thing with John and Brady has got me so messed up that I can't think straight, so I needed something stronger than coke to take the edge off.
ANNE: So you chose heroin?
TERESA: What is the big deal? It's just a one time thing!
ANNE: It's a very big deal. This stuff is nasty. This isn't little kid stuff. You could die from this!
TERESA: Wow! Have you been taking drama lessons lately?
ANNE: I'm serious, Teresa. I'm worried about you.
TERESA: Anne, I appreciate the concern. I really do. But, I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself. Like I said, it as a one time thing. No big deal.
Teresa grabbed the spoon from Anne, wiped her nose, and walked out.
ANNE: That's what everyone says.

Love seeing Anne's concern for Theresa.

I also like seeing a different side to Anne. It makes her more complex and more human. I always thought that maybe there might have been a part of Anne that did care for Theresa.

Chapter 12

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
MARY BETH: I didn't do anything.
EVE: You expect me to believe that?
MARY BETH: Well, I didn't.
EVE: Oh yeah. Right.
MARY BETH: Look, I swear, Miss Larson, I didn't have anything to do with what happened. I was just trying to talk to Paige, but she was mad at me for something I didn't even do.
EVE: What could she possibly have said to you that justified this?
MARY BETH: I'm not justifying it, because I didn't do it. Paige asked me over because she wanted to talk, she didn't like what I said, so she tried to leave and tripped down the stairs.
EVE: What did you say to her?
MARY BETH: I told her about the set up.
EVE: You stupid girl! I knew I shouldn't have trusted you!
MARY BETH: I didn't tell her everything. Besides, she practically knew it all before she asked me.
EVE: But, she still doesn't know about my involvement in this, right?
MARY BETH: Right.
EVE: In one way, that's good. That means I'm safe.
MARY BETH: Not if Paige remembers everything.
EVE: What do you mean?

DIMERA MANSION
STAN: Why Italy?
Stan and Chad stood in the DiMera living room.
CHAD: That's where he is.
STAN: But, why the Vatican?
Cassie entered.
CASSIE: That's where he works. He's a translator. And since he's a genius, he can pick up almost any language just by reading a few lines.
STAN: Cassie.
CASSIE: Hello Stan.
CHAD: So, here's the deal: You bring back the other Gemini by the end of the week, and I will help you get revenge on my brother.
STAN: You got it, boss.
Stan walked out of the room.
CHAD: So, Cassie, let's catch up. I'm Stefano's youngest son. You work for me now. Clear?
CASSIE: Definately.
CHAD: Good. Now, you used to work for my cousin, right?
CASSIE: Brother, actually.
CHAD: No. Cousin. He just looked like my brother.
CASSIE: Okay.
CHAD: And now, the great work continues.

I love how you write Anne's dialogue, Andre.

Eve seems more interested in whether Paige know about the setup than about Paige's health.

I can't help but wondering if Stan is Sami in disguise.

Poor Paige! Eve definitely seems more concerned about being found out.
