Lucas and Sami (Read 984 times)

Ah LUCAS AND SAMI! This is my favorite Sami pairings and one of my favorite Days pairings of all time. Lucas and Sami had it all to be the next big supercouple on Days and for whatever reason the writers decided to throw them away.

Lucas was everything to Sami at different points in her life, but at each point he was there. He was her best friend, her scheming partner in crime, her teenage lover and the man Sami trusted with her deepest, darkest secrets. He became her enemy but just because Sami felt a need to keep their son away from him at all costs, even lying about him abusing Will in order to make it happen. He also couldn't help but care about her when it mattered the most. He was there to help her heal after her accident at the Dimera Mansion and they fell in love slowly as a result. They were both insecure about themselves and strongly cautious about each other's true intentions, but in the end, neither of them were lying, they were in love.

Sami isn't the same without Lucas around in any capacity. She is weaker, dumber, isn't feisty, or strong. Something is missing from Sami and has been for a long time.

At times I wish that Lucas would come through the door and not rescue her, but make her reflect that some of the decisions she's made, particularly in the last couple of years have been the wrong ones for her and her family. That would start the healing process for Sami, she's been through a lot in 3 years. Unfortunately I won't get that because Lucas is in Hong Kong and TPTB don't seem to be inclined to bring him back (at least for now).

I miss Bryan like crazy, I miss Lucas too and I won't ever stop hoping for Lumi!

I always felt like Sami and Lucas were that one couple from high school that could actually make it. They were two souls that came together and made each other better and stronger.

I wish TPTB would bring Lucas back when Allie returns from her trip, He needs to come home and help her come to her senses. Rafe is not her match. Lucas is.

And for the record, I was a huge Ejami fan!! But I think that fiesty side I used to see with Lucas, came out with pre-evil EJ.

Very True! ... and the best part is that the reverse is true too. Sami was everything to Lucas at different points in his life. They are true soulmates, cut from the same cloth. Two imperfect people that fit perfectly together.

I would so like to see Lucas and Sami back together. It would be so amazing if Johnny and Sydeny was Lucas's as well. A girl can hope can she not.

Nice tribute. If there is one couple that should never have been parted, it is Lucas and Sami. Truer soulmates could not be found than these two. Thanks for sharing.
