Hey everyone!
I've been looking for quite a while for a new job and just a couple of weeks ago applied for two within my current firm. Both jobs offer much more potential and more pay than my current position.
I was told two weeks ago that one of the two was VERY interested in meeting with me but because she was gone it would be today before that could happen. I interviewed with the other woman last year for a similar position with her. So now both position interviews are today. I've kinda been in a placent mood regarding everything and not getting my hopes up, but now it's 1:15 and I'm starting to get nervous. If you could please say a prayer or send positive energy my way I would greatly appreciate it!
Brandi

Sorry for the late update. I had a memorial race to attend last night (I've only missed a couple of years since the beginning of it).
I really feel that the interviews went well. Kim said she was glad to see me interview again so we didn't really have much to add to what we discussed. We both kept saying that we kept going back to last year's interview. Beth (the one I was worried about the most) said that she was EXTREMELY EXCITED to see that I had applied. She addressed my biggest concern that I had about the job being an area that I have never done before and made me feel SOOOO much better about it. When asked if I preferred one over the other, I simply stated that I thought I would be happy in either one because both seemed to offer the chance to learn with endless opportunities to grow and improve upon my skills. Both seemed to really like that answer. So now the waiting game has begun and I wait to see what they decide....
Thank you all so much for the support & encouragement!

Good luck Mae! This must be interview season. GG interviewed for something. And actually I did too. Two weeks ago, I interviewed for a lead teacher position at my current school and I'm still waiting to hear from my principal. He said during the interview that he would probably know by last week, but I'm still waiting. I do know that he's been crazy busy with a ton of interviews (for lots of different positions) these last two weeks, so hopefully that just means he hasn't gotten around to congratulating me yet. So I'm just trying to stay positive. I know you're all behind me, and I can feel it, so thank you!!! Best of luck to everyone out there looking for their new jobs!

Good luck! I hope you get dual offers, and you can use that to negotiate better pay/benefits, etc. DD-I agree, must be interview season. My mom is out of work, and suddenly has a few interviews. More job vibes your way...

Prayers and thoughts headed your way DD & GG!! May the Lord Bless all of us with the best possible outcomes! Trey - dual offers would be great, but seeing as how its 2 different positions within the same department, I'm not sure how well that would work. I'm pretty sure that the two supervisors (whose offices are right next to each other) are in talks regarding where the better fit would be and I will only get one offer. I will be happy with either one as long as what they offer is fair and with this area, I know that it would be (right now anything is a step up for me in more ways than one
